About This Game

Ocean Cleaner Idle is an incremental clicker aquatic solarpunk game where you use your mouse to pick up trash from the ocean and recycle it into materials to improve your ship.

Meerlinda is an Atlantean and the captain of the ship Gentle Breeze. She has recently risen from Atlantis to the surface of the sea. Atlanteans have lived in peace for millennia in their underwater city.

To Meerlinda’s disgust there is a growing mass of waste polluting the waters. Humans have used the oceans as a garbage dump for too long. Meerlinda is a DIY go-getter so she decides to fix the problem. She embarks on a mission to clean it all up!

Meerlinda’s ship Gentle Breeze combines Atlantean shipbuilding traditions with their latest technology. It is propelled by sails and powered by solar energy.

To collect trash move your mouse pointer over it. It is automatically recycled into useful materials like plastic or cellulose. Clicking anywhere on the game screen trims the sails, speeding up the ship to bring you more trash to collect.

Meerlinda uses recycled materials to upgrade her ship. Upgrades help to clean the ocean faster. Some upgrades will collect trash automatically for the idle play experience.

  • Manual and automatic trash collection

  • Multiple ship upgrades

  • 10 levels for each upgrade

  • 4 different material tiers (Only the 1st in the demo)

  • Waves of trash

Ocean trash is a real problem that afflicts sea life around the world. There are already millions of tons of trash in the oceans and millions more are added every year. The size of the trash varies from microscopic to whole ships abandoned to the ocean bottom. Most of the trash is plastic, but any material produced can end up there. Unfortunately cleaning up the oceans is not easy in real life. The best way to tackle the problem is to reduce the amount of trash that ends up in the ocean.
