About This Demo

Explore a dangerous dungeon to recover the legendary Amulet of Endor! Powerful monsters lurk below, and your torch is the only thing keeping the dark miasma at bay. Keep it lit and you might make it out alive.

Battle fearsome foes, monstrous monstrosities, and (of course) rats. Every turn, pull five balls out of your magic bag. Drop three of them onto the field. When two balls of the same size and type collide, they merge together and you will deal damage. Or gain armor. Or poison a monster. Setup up combos for double damage.

Learn to avoid traps, sneak up on enemies, and worship Grot, the jacked god of strength. Fight shadow mages, armored knights, and the king of slimes. Blow things up. Die often.

Die often, and die again. Throw bombs and use potions. Crawl, fight, drop balls. Go deeper, get smarter, and get out alive.

The full version of the game will have more classes and starting gear, new special abilities, more gods, six more levels of dungeon to crawl through, and fearsome foes to take on. I'm really enjoying the game design challenge of translating standard roguelike / RPG fare (like traps and status effects) into phyiscal (and "physics-able") elements of the battlefield. Stay tuned!
