Kick the Dungeon is a card-based tactical roguelike game that uses the SRD 5.1 rules. Assemble your unique party, craft your own build, and enjoy the thrill of battle. Use cards to unleash familiar spells like Fireball and Magic Missile — every run offers a completely different experience.

Kick The Dungeon is a turn-based tactical RPG inspired by DND 5E-style combat. Build your party, enter dangerous battle maps, and defeat a wide variety of enemies through positioning, skill timing, equipment choices, and team composition.

The game focuses on tactical combat progression. You choose from multiple class-based characters, form a party, and fight through different regions and battle stages filled with goblins, beasts, undead, constructs, and other enemies. Every battle is shaped by initiative order, movement range, attack distance, skill area, armor class, damage rolls, and saving throws. Victory depends not only on raw damage, but also on positioning, target priority, and smart use of each turn.

The current version includes 6 playable class templates, such as Fighter, Wizard, Rogue, Ranger, Cleric, Paladin, Each class offers a different combat role and playstyle, including frontline defense, ranged attacks, spellcasting, healing, burst damage, and mobility. Choosing the right team setup has a major impact on how each encounter plays out.

The game currently features 200+ skill entries, 90+ monsters, 50+ pieces of equipment, and 30 battle stages across multiple regions. Players will explore battlefields such as forests, mazes, scorched lands, and towers, facing different enemy groups, elite encounters, and large creatures. Terrain, enemy combinations, and party composition all create different tactical challenges.

Combat is built around clear turn phases. Each unit acts according to initiative and uses movement, actions, bonus actions, and reactions to influence the battlefield. You will need to balance melee attacks, ranged damage, spells, healing, buffs, and debuffs while adapting to the changing situation of each fight. Area attacks, single-target burst, status effects, and reaction-based mechanics can all turn the tide of battle.
