Kenapa Akses Awal?

“This game is in Early Access because I decided instead of shooting this whole game out in one go, years from now. It would be easier to release it in chunks and have the community give me some guidance on which way this project should go.
It's a very huge and ambitious project for a first game, so doing it this way seems the best way to go.
I do promise to release this game though, and the community under it will make sure I don't stop until that promise is carried out.”

Berapa lama permainan ini dijangka akan berada dalam Akses Awal?

“So far it's suspected to be a good several months to even years.
Stuff can happen so I can't be sure it'll be out fast.
It's already been about 2 years in development so I assume it may be a couple more.
I'm not promising anything though; just know it'll take its time.”

Apakah perbezaan yang dirancang antara versi penuh dan versi Akses Awal?

“Right now, the game has a lot of limitations, I'm personally one of the only programmers on my team so none of this is anywhere near as polished as I want.

When this game first launches though, it will have about only 3 levels, compared to the full game which is planned to have closer to 25 levels with about 15 bosses, (The After campaign taking up some of those numbers) and spiffier art.
The levels layouts may significantly change as the game progresses. Maybe I won't like some sprites or background art and I'll change it.

As far as I'm aware. At this moment, we plan to change the game from how it is now, to just having much more content (as planned) and a shinier look when it releases.

This is partly the reason I chose Early Access is because I'm not confident in my ability to have a full game launch well so I want to build an audience to push me forward as I work.”

Bagaimanakah keadaan semasa versi Akses Awal?

“The current state is, again, very limited multiplayer.
We've got about Chapter 1 of the game pretty much down to a tee.
We've got some secrets riddled in and out of levels.
Menus are quite pretty -- We've got all the technical stuff down, but level design is not something I'm very good at.

We've got:
1 Tutorial
3 Main Levels
2 Bosses
3 Multiplayer Levels (Just the main levels really, but multiplayer accessible)

3 Secret Minigames
15 In-level secrets

Endless Run Mode
Freeplay Mode

Keyboard and Controller keybind change menus (But that's gonna be a nightmare for multiplayer since they all are the same)
Graphics settings
A Credits menu (nobody really checks those though)

A lot, but not enough for us to be happy.
So be ready for more!”

“The price may increase -- And not gradually, it will be about a 300%~~ price increase.”

Bagaimana anda merancang untuk melibatkan Komuniti dalam proses pembangunan anda?

“Our community is a star member of this game.
We have a (GRAH!) Studios Discord where a lot of them reside; they practically change the course of where this game is headed.
Without a lot of their feedback and helping hands, this game would be stuck without a lot that this game currently has.
I know that this is asking how are we "planning" but we've already got it figured out.

Two things that get me up in the morning is feedback and democracy [The server being democracy lolz]
We hold a lot of polls and take votes on what changes this game makes
We like to find middle ground so a lot of people get a fair share of ideas and decisions being put into this game.
A lot of people have made characters, enemies, have asked for certain parts of levels to change or have movesets in-game change.

I love my community. They are all friendly and share a lot of good ideas! And to anyone reading this, you could be in it too, if you love this project as much as I do, and have something you want to say, I'd love to hear it.”

Chip & The Red Storm is a fast-paced old school 2D side-scrolling platformer based off games such as Super Mario Bros. (1985) and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (1992) [content and mechanic wise]

With an evil storm on the loose and two daemons with lost control, Chip Oxnow is sent to decipher what he thinks is best for the world, and uses his free will to act on those decisions.
