Miksi Early Access?

Desert Echo is being developed by a solo developer. Early Access allows us to involve the community early, gather feedback on gameplay balance, difficulty, and content, and shape the game's future direction based on real player experience.

We plan to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months, depending on community feedback and development progress.

We plan to add more maps, additional enemy types, mobile turrets, allied drones, NPCs with activities and reactions, expanded story content, multiplayer improvements. The full version aims to deliver a significantly larger and more polished experience.

The game features a fully playable horde defense experience with wave-based combat, multiple weapons, a turret placement system, an economy system, NPC vendors, a dynamic weather system, a tutorial, and online multiplayer over Steam.

We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features. Early Access players get the best price as a thank you for their support.

Echo is an artificial consciousness — endlessly recurring, endlessly rebuilt. When your chassis falls, the Core resurrects you. When the Core falls, there is nothing left to come back to.

THE ECHO CORE

The Echo Core is everything. It stabilizes the Dimensional Rifts tearing reality apart. It anchors your existence. Destroy it, and the rifts consume what remains. Protect it — or stop existing.

DIMENSIONAL DRIFT

A giant sphere floats above the desert floor, dragging a portal into existence. A purple light descends — slowly, inevitably. Watch the timer. When the light hits the sphere, the vortex opens and they pour through. You cannot stop it. You can only be ready.

Desert Echo is a sci-fi horde defense game built around endless wave survival, tactical turret deployment, and cooperative chaos. Hold the line. Spend wisely. Don't let them through.

  • Co-op Multiplayer - Fight alongside a friend in Steam-powered co-op. Coordinate, cover, survive together — or fall apart trying.

  • Echo's Story - Uncover the fragmented truth behind your existence through environmental storytelling, NPC encounters, and Echo's own inner monologue.

  • Dynamic Weather and Sandstorm - Walls of sand sweep across the canyon, stripping visibility and turning the battlefield into chaos. Survive the storm and survive what comes within.
