About This Game

Descend is an upcoming Roguelite ARPG. It combines the exciting combat, looting and build crafting of a traditional ARPG with a Roguelite run structure. Slay hordes of enemies to gain procedural skills, augments and loot to shape your build and fight deeper. Descend is set apart with a unique skill system, run-altering persistent upgrades, and an evolving quest system that influences gameplay.

Combat

• Take full control of your character with real time action combat.

• Dodge roll out of the way of attacks, move while casting, use charged skills for more impact, set up devastating damage conditions with status effects, and more. Do all of this with WASD and controller support.

Procedural Skill System

• Loot procedurally generated Skills with dynamically created skill trees. 

• Socketed Skill Augments boost not only a Skill's power but dynamically change how it behaves. Turn a Fireball into a multishot projectile, make them bounce off walls, increase their stats, explode on impact and countless more combinations.

Roguelite

• Unlike traditional ARPGs Descend's roguelite structure forces you to create your build as you play rather then being directed by a build guide.

• Persistent unlocks aren't just stat boosts, they also influence drop chances of specific Stats, Effects and Items to shape your build towards your goal.

Loot

• Find Common, Magic, Rare, and Unique items that alter stats and effects to boost your character.

• Unique items carry powerful effects that can bring a build online and completely change a run.
