ABOUT THIS GAME

Junebug is a cat companion and cozy building game about creating charming spaces and experiencing them through your cat. Build, decorate and make a space your own, then step into it as your cat to explore, play and enjoy what you’ve created.

BUILD YOUR SPACE

Shape each space with stylized trees, rocks, flowers, mushrooms, grass, planks, fences, logs and other props. Place, move, rotate, resize, duplicate and rearrange everything freely until it feels right.

What you place becomes part of your cat’s environment. Trees create shade, planks and flat stones become places to walk or rest, soft vegetation can be wandered through, and anything new you add might catch your cat’s attention.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR CAT

Your cat has nine lives. Make each one count. Explore the spaces you’ve shaped, play, wander and enjoy the world through your cat, but keep an eye on her too. Hunger, harsh weather and other dangers can put her at risk if she is left to fend for herself for too long.

When left on her own, she still follows her instincts. She investigates new objects, naps, grooms, stretches, grazes, digs and explores the environment around her. Find shelter when the weather turns bad, make sure she has what she needs and pay attention to the little signs that something isn’t right.

MAKE YOUR CAT YOUR OWN

Choose from Junebug’s handcrafted cats or create your own in the Cat Editor. Customize coat patterns, colors, eyes, face and body shape, age, size and personality, then give your cat a name and bring them into the spaces you create.

Different personalities influence how your cat behaves when left to herself, while direct control is always yours whenever you want it.

SET THE MOOD FOR YOUR SPACE

Shift the time of day, change the weather, adjust the wind and transform the mood of a space whenever you like. Birds, insects, drifting motes, moving grass and nighttime fireflies help make each setting feel alive.

From bright afternoons to fog, rain, distant storms and firelit evenings, the same space can feel completely different depending on the atmosphere you create.

CAPTURE THE LITTLE MOMENTS

Photo Mode lets you frame the moments you want to keep, whether it’s a scene you built, a change in the light, or your cat doing something worth remembering.

Adjust the camera, depth of field and visual look, capture high-resolution photos, and keep your favorites in the in-game Moments album.
