Frostward is a 4X survival strategy game set in a frozen world on the brink of collapse. Build and defend the last bastion of civilization, manage heat and resources, explore the deadly wasteland, and lead expeditions into the unknown.

Combining city-building, base defense, and large-scale strategic progression, Frostward challenges you to survive not only against the cold, but against the growing threats hidden beyond the storm.

Redesigned from the ground up as the successor to Epoch of Guardians, every major system—from technology and resource management to unit progression and enemy behavior—has been rebuilt to create a deeper, more scalable survival strategy experience.

Send investigators to clear snow-covered tiles and uncover the terrain and resources buried beneath the frozen world. Cleared land may transform into more productive terrain, while hidden resources, abandoned structures, and stranded survivors await discovery.

Plan and Optimize Your Settlement

Design your settlement on a hex-grid map where buildings vary in size, shape, and orientation. Carefully manage space and maximize adjacency bonuses between structures and resources. Mines placed near ore deposits increase construction output, while schools built beside housing improve education production.

Your settlement will face relentless threats emerging from the frozen wilderness.
