In 2025, an unidentified object crashes in downtown Phoenix. The biotech giant Cerlen Group, in collaboration with the military, recovers its "Core."
From the Core samples, Cerlen discovers an unknown virus. During research, they accidentally find it can repair severe tissue damage—at the cost of taking over the host's lower nerve centers. "Project Phoenix" is launched: ultimate bioweapon and medical revolution.
In 2028, an "accident" occurs at the main suburban lab. The virus mixes genetically with rabies and influenza, forming the N‑Plague—transmissible through air, blood, and water. The first infected die within 48 hours, then "revive" driven by the virus—losing higher cognition, retaining only the instinct to devour biomass to repair themselves.
Three months later, human society is paralyzed.

You
You are one of the rare "Adapters" with natural immunity to N‑Plague. Your blood can suppress viral spread—making you a target for survivors, Cerlen remnants, and scattered military factions.
