About This Game

2030. STRAIT OF HORUMUS.

The U.S.E. President has ordered a total blockade. Oil tankers from six countries are coming through, each following its own ridiculous doctrine.

Your assignment is simple: build the wall's defenses, combine modules, and let nobody pass.

BUILD A DEFENSE THAT IS ACTUALLY YOURS

Every tower has three module slots. Mix eight module types to create 120 builds: rapid fire, volleys, piercing shots, slows, overkill contraptions, and combinations that should probably have been denied funding.

Discover 31 named Signature Builds when the right modules meet.

MAKE THE NEXT CARD COUNT

Choose upgrade cards, reshape your loadout, and adapt to shifting threats. Range, damage, attack patterns, stealth detection, and control all compete for limited space. A strong build is not one tower—it is a plan.

TWO WAYS TO HOLD THE STRAIT

  • Story Campaign — Survive seven escalating days and 14 day/night phases. Read the morning briefing, counter six national tanker gimmicks, react to breaking events, and endure the President's running commentary.
  • 100-Stage Maze — Conquer a century of handcrafted routes and face a new boss every ten stages. Each milestone brings a larger, stranger threat.

DEADPAN GEOPOLITICAL SATIRE

Operation: Horumus is a parody. Its countries, leaders, events, and deliberately mangled place names are fictional exaggerations of a world that already sounds made up.

The strait is closed. Make it stay that way.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Operation: Horumus is a "vibe coding" experiment. Most of the game's content — code, game design, pixel art, sound effects, procedural music, narrative writing, and all four language localizations (English, Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese) — was developed with extensive use of generative AI tools, under the developer's direction. Every creative and technical decision was made by the developer, and all AI-generated output was reviewed and curated before inclusion.
No AI is invoked during gameplay. The game runs entirely offline and makes no calls to external AI services.
This is a parody experiment, and the use of AI is part of the experiment itself. We disclose it here so you can decide whether that approach is interesting to you.
