About This Demo

Deep Frost is a Carpenter-flavored singleplayer social-deduction roguelike. Twelve named researchers are trapped at a failing Antarctic outpost; the Thaw - a parasitic intelligence - has begun copying the crew. Read suspects, plant clues, survive the blood test, and live to extraction.

This demo gives you the first three days of the rotation - enough to learn the deduction loop and feel the dread set in. Day 4 (the blood test) is where the full game begins.

Deep Frost is the debut release from AeonGames, a one-person studio in Ontario, Canada. Designed, written, coded, and tested solo over a year.

Some 2D images shipped in the game (story/cutscene illustrations, marketing materials) were generated using Google's Gemini image model and then hand-edited and composed by the developer. All in-game gameplay assets, UI, code, music, and procedurally-generated NPC content are original and human-authored. No live AI generation occurs at runtime.
