Why Early Access?

“Working on a open world RPG takes a ton of time and effort to develop every aspect of the game as a solo developer. Early Access is the perfect fit because I can continue to add new features and content to the game over time.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I estimate two more years for the main game to be completed. There are a lot of zones and content to finish to reach that goal as a solo developer.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Full version will have more quests, additional dungeons, new enemies, new races, new systems, additional NPCs, more completed zones, new items, world objects and details.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“There are 18 zones to explore, 7 zones that contain quests, 1 dungeon, spell crafting system, combat, group system, hundreds of items, bosses, enemies, crafting system, trade system, gathering system, fishing system, shops, banks, Knowledge system, skill system, smelting system, enchanting system, alchemy system, equipment system, swimming, keybinds, world map, buffs and debuffs, save and save backup system.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the plan is to increase the price for the full launch.”

Dead Spell is a open world RPG.



You have been summoned from a distant realm to save a world drowning beneath the shadow of evil. A darkness now spreads like a relentless plague, poisoning all that it touches. The cries of the fallen echo through the lands, and despair grips the hearts of those who remain. Follow the Eternal Light, you are destined to cleanse these cursed lands.

Open World
Explore 18 zones in a open world environment. Travel to lush Forests, Poisonous Swamps, burning Deserts, and more!

Spell Crafting System
Combine Base Scrolls and Attachment scrolls to create unique spells.

Quest System
Explore the world and complete quests.

Group System
Invite NPCs to your group with offerings. Use the Group Panel to control your group. Invite Defense, Caster, Melee, and Healer.

Dungeons
Explore dungeons, defeat powerful enemies, and fight challenging bosses! Currently only the Shadow Crypt dungeon is available on launch.

Equipment
Find new items in the world from enemies, bosses, and chests.

Trade System
Trade for items that can be used for crafting new items.

Crafting System
Craft new items from items found in the world.

Enchantment System
Enchant Equipment Items to make them more powerful.

Skill System
Level up skills from herbalism, mining, trading, crafting, fishing, and more.
