What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The game is being released in Early Access because it is structured as a multi-episode experience. At launch, only the first standalone episode is available, while Episodes 2 and 3 are still in development.

Early Access allows players to experience the world of Neo-Uryupinsk now, while also giving valuable feedback that can help refine gameplay, narrative pacing, and overall quality for the remaining episodes.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The game is planned to remain in Early Access for approximately 2–3 months. During this time, 1–2 major updates are expected, adding the remaining episodes and expanding the overall experience.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version currently includes the first standalone episode of the game. The full version is planned to expand this into a complete multi-episode experience with additional narrative content and gameplay variety.

We plan to add Episodes 2 and 3, further developing the story, themes, and characters introduced in Episode 1. Future updates are also intended to expand the total playtime, introduce additional scenes, and refine existing systems such as mini-games, balance, and pacing.

We also plan to improve visual presentation, polish UI/UX elements, and incorporate player feedback gathered during Early Access to enhance the overall experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes a fully playable first standalone episode of the game. It represents a complete narrative arc with implemented core mechanics, including dialogue choices and mini-games, and can be finished in a single playthrough.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The price is planned to increase after Early Access. The full version is expected to include Episodes 2 and 3, significantly expanding the overall content (approximately 2–3 times larger than Episode 1).

We also plan to add additional language support (including French, Italian, German, and Ukrainian), along with overall improvements and polish, which will be reflected in the final price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community through regular updates posted in the Steam Community Hub, sharing development progress, patch notes, and upcoming changes.
We also actively monitor player reviews and feedback to help guide improvements, balance adjustments, and overall game polish. Community input will play an important role in shaping future updates during Early Access.”

About This Game

Three episodes. Three very different stories.

A strange, dark, and occasionally absurd visual novel that takes you from a corporate cyberpunk dystopia, to military academy life in the 2000s, and finally aboard a mysterious train carrying an artifact that should probably never have been moved.

Multiple endings · 7 mini-games · 12 languages · Full voice-over · Dozens of achievements

Episode 1 — AGE Inc.

Welcome to Neo-Uryupinsk. There is no exit. There is only the update.

“In a world where corporations replaced nations and AI replaced conscience, you are the last failsafe in a system that wants you erased.”

You are Gleb, a “freelance manager” working for Global Trust Corporation.

You live in a luxurious penthouse overlooking an eternal sunset. You dine on the finest steaks. You converse with your flawless virtual assistant, CHARL.

Everything is perfect.

So why does rusted metal from a prison carriage sometimes flicker through the panoramic glass?

Why does your exquisite dinner smell faintly of bleach and boiled cabbage?

And why does it feel like every decision you make is being watched?

In a world where corporations replaced nations and AI replaced conscience, you will make decisions on behalf of Global Trust — including decisions that can determine who lives and who dies.

Your mind is monitored by three very different systems:

  • CHARL — caring, helpful, and disturbingly opaque

  • Sergeant — a paranoid security script with its own agenda

  • The Judge — cold, impartial, and absolute

To them, you are either a valuable asset… or biological waste awaiting disposal.

As reality begins to fracture, you will have to decide what to trust, what to remember, and how much of yourself you are willing to sacrifice.

Episode 1 is a standalone psychological cyberpunk thriller with its own story, characters, choices, and endings.

Episode 2 — The Academy

Forget the penthouse.

Forget the corporations.

Welcome to the 2000s.

Experience life inside a military academy as a young cadet. Training, friendships, discipline, absurd everyday situations, conflicts, and the strange atmosphere of a time that now feels both familiar and distant.

This episode takes a completely different direction from Neo-Uryupinsk, with its own characters, setting, humor, drama, and choices.

Your decisions in the Academy can lead to different endings.

But some of those endings can also determine what you are able to discover in the next episode.

The Academy and the Guard Train form a connected storyline — and the way you finish the Academy can change what awaits you on the train.

Episode 3 — The Guard Train

A military guard.

A long journey by train.

A mysterious artifact.

And something that doesn't belong there.

Episode 3 continues the story introduced in The Academy. Different outcomes from Episode 2 can unlock different parts of the train journey, giving you more scenes, information, and possibilities to discover.

What begins as a routine assignment gradually turns into something much stranger.

The train is moving. The artifact is onboard.

And someone — or something — seems to know more than they should.

More Than a Visual Novel

The story is the heart of the game — but you won't spend the entire game clicking through dialogue.

Throughout the three episodes, you'll encounter 7 different mini-games and interactive mechanics, each designed around the story and its setting.

7 Mini-Games

  • Combat Brick Crusher — Arcade-style battles against security firewalls.

  • Classic “Durak” — A psychological card duel with the Sergeant, where losing may cost you more than pride.

  • Domino Reimagined — Build logical chains to bypass corporate restrictions.

  • The Memory Trials — Reconstruct more than 100 symbolic fragments hidden behind CHARL's filters.

  • Mahjong — A meditative purge of digital noise from your consciousness.

  • Tactical Inventory — Prepare equipment in the real world, accompanied by industrial ASMR.

  • Military Training — Upgrade Gleb's bio-chip and resist increasingly aggressive sedation protocols.

These aren't simply distractions between story scenes.

They are part of the experience — and some of them can affect your progress.

Choices, Endings & Secrets

Your choices can affect:

  • story progression

  • characters and interactions

  • available scenes

  • endings

  • hidden story content

  • what becomes available in later episodes

Some paths are easy to miss. Some endings reveal information that changes how you look at earlier events. And some content can only be discovered by making different choices and exploring another path.

If you want to see everything, one playthrough won't be enough.

Three Different Experiences

The game deliberately changes its tone and visual style from episode to episode.

  • Cyberpunk psychological horror — corporations, AI, surveillance, and a reality that refuses to stay stable.

  • Military drama & dark comedy — cadet life, friendships, discipline, and the absurdity of everyday life in the 2000s.

  • Surreal railway horror — a military train, a mysterious artifact, and a journey that becomes increasingly difficult to explain.

Some moments are disturbing.

Some are ridiculous.

Some are unexpectedly quiet.

And some are just strange.

Languages & Voice Acting

The game supports 12 languages:

English, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, LATAM Portuguese, LATAM Spanish, Italian, German, Polish, Ukrainian, and French.

A note about the voice acting:

As a small independent project, traditional professional voice acting for 12 languages would require a budget far beyond the scope of the game. Instead, the game uses modern Text-to-Speech technology to provide a fully voiced experience across all supported languages.

The result may not sound exactly like a traditional studio production, but it allows you to experience the entire story with voices in your language rather than reading a silent script.

AI-Generated Content

Some visual assets and backgrounds were created or enhanced using generative AI tools during development.

All AI-generated material was curated, edited, and integrated by the developer to fit the game's artistic direction.

The story, characters, dialogue, game design, and narrative structure are human-created.

No generative AI is used in real time during gameplay.

One Small Indie Game. Three Experiences.

1 standalone cyberpunk thriller.

1 military academy story.

1 supernatural railway adventure connected to the Academy.

7 mini-games.

Multiple endings, secrets, and achievements.

12 languages with extensive voice localization.

A small, unusual indie game made to be played, replayed, and explored.

Enter Neo-Uryupinsk.

Survive the Academy.

Get on the Guard Train.

And see where your choices take you.

This game contains mature themes presented in a psychological and narrative context. Players will encounter depictions of violence (including implied executions and harm to civilians), psychological distress, and themes of surveillance, loss of identity, and dehumanization.

The story explores ethical decision-making under corporate control, which may include signing off on lethal actions affecting large groups of people. Some scenes contain disturbing imagery, oppressive environments, and existential horror elements.
