About This Game

Tempest of Nations is a real-time, historical grand strategy game set during the Industrial Revolution. Lead your nation through one of the most transformative eras of history as you manage diplomacy, economics, and politics.

GAMEPLAY

• Choose to play as any one of the dozens of nations that existed at the start of the 19th century.

• Grow your economy by expanding industry, exploiting natural resources, and balancing trade.

• Research technology to give you an edge over your rivals. 

• Influence internal politics to ensure stability, pass reforms, and appease opposing political interests.

• Use diplomacy to forge alliances, negotiate treaties, and maintain the balance of power—or strive to do away with it entirely.

• Engage in warfare across the world, ordering your armies to achieve war aims or by manually taking charge.

• Expand your nation outward through conquest and colonization, or choose to focus on developing what you already have. All playstyles are feasible.
