Card Generation

Every card is generated from actual 1969 season statistics. Batter and pitcher ratings are built from real performance data across the full season, with park factors computed from each stadium's run environment — so Tom Seaver's card reflects his 25-win Cy Young year, and Shea Stadium plays the way it played.

1969 changed baseball forever. The leagues expanded to 24 teams, split into divisions for the first time, and introduced the League Championship Series. The mound was lowered after the Year of the Pitcher, and offense surged back to life. And the talent on the field was staggering: Tom Seaver won 25 games and the Cy Young.
