Tired of the hustle and fast pace of the city? In 'Free as  Fish,' you will have a digital aquarium that entirely belongs to you. There are no battles, no countdowns here—just clear flowing water, swaying aquatic plants, and a group of little spirits waiting to meet you.

You are not just a fish keeper; you are the creator of this miniature world. Starting with a small glass tank, you can build the darkness of a rainforest, the clarity of a stream, or the colorful beauty of coral. Each fish has a unique personality and story—two betta fish will fight if placed together, gobies lay eggs in river clams, and clownfish love to play hide-and-seek in anemones.

The game emphasizes 'slowing down and feeling.' You can brew a cup of tea and simply watch the fish swim, releasing all the day's fatigue. This is not just a game; it is a sanctuary for the soul that you can immerse in anytime.

Core Gameplay

Ecosystem Tank Simulation

You need to balance water quality (pH, temperature, oxygen levels), lighting, and filtration systems. Different fish have different water requirements—mixing angelfish and koi, for example, they might 'protest' together! You may need salt or baking soda to adjust the water's pH, creating a natural haven for your fish.

Fish Collection

The game features dozens of real and fantasy-styled fish. From common guppies and goldfish to rare arowanas, and even mysterious moonlight fish and One-Browed Taoist. By completing tasks, breeding, or special events, you can unlock new fish; each fish is 3D-modeled, allowing you to see the reflection of their scales, the stretch of their fins, and even the cute moment of yawning.

Free Decoration and Breeding

Use driftwood, rocks, shells, pneumatic figures, and dozens of other decorations to create a unique landscape. Press '2' to make the fish lay eggs, and after a period of incubation, new fish may appear! Watching the fish continuously reproduce gives an irreplaceable sense of accomplishment.

Whether in an island villa, a desert fortress near by the Yellow River, a sea-view villa, or in a free as fish shop , you can fully enjoy the fun of feeding and raising fish.

Of course, don't forget to read the fish encyclopedia to understand the salinity and alkalinity that each different fish species can adapt to, and to control the salt content and temperature of the water. This is key to successfully raising fish.

Remember, fish can be fed less, but the water must be suitable for them.
