If the world is a dream being erased, would you wake up to face the ruins?

In Data Abyss, you play as a young girl who has lost her memories. Your once-peaceful data world begins to collapse violently—familiar scenes shatter into geometric fragments, and logic is swallowed by chaotic code. To find clues about your missing family and uncover the truth behind this world’s destruction, you must take up arms and fight your way through the maddening ruins.

High-Speed Offensive/Defensive Rhythm – No more monotonous cover shooting. Use dodges, slides, and a unique grappling hook system to scale crumbling terrain and take control of the combat pace.

Tactical Mobility Mechanics

• Shift – Dodge: Instantly evade danger and trigger a bullet-time effect.

• Ctrl – Slide: Low-profile rush – ideal for quickly passing obstacles or surprising enemies.

• Q – Grappling Hook: Grab high platforms or enemies for vertical, mobile attacks.

Unique Core Art Aesthetic – The game’s visuals blend Rustcore (abandoned places), Glitch Art, and Surrealism. You’ll see melting clocks, floating ruined buildings, and constantly fracturing ground—every step walks the line between reality and illusion.

Fragmented Storytelling – Press F to collect “Memory Fragments” and “Data Letters” scattered across levels, piecing together the complete story of your family and why this world has fallen apart.

What’s Included in the Current Demo

Thank you for trying the early demo of Data Abyss. The current version includes:

• Core System Loop – Fully experience the basic controls: movement (WASD), dodge (Shift), slide (Ctrl), grappling hook (Q), shooting (LMB), and collect (F). Get a feel for the core loop of high-speed mobile shooting.

• Early Visual Preview – Get a first look at our signature core art style and surrealist visuals, including Glitch effects and crumbling environment representations.

• Limited Combat Experience – Basic enemy types and combat scenarios to help you learn the mechanics and controls.

About Future Updates

This is only a very early starting point. We’re releasing the demo now because we believe—

Moving forward, we will:

• Continuously add content – Prologue chapter, full tutorial, episodic narrative content, boss fights, and more will arrive in later updates.

• Listen carefully to every piece of feedback – If anything feels off, tell us directly. We’ll adjust combat feel and difficulty curves based on real player data and community voices. You can also share your wild ideas based on the current demo—we plan to turn your suggestions into reality.
