You don't twitch a stick. You draw the play — runs, passes, crosses, shots — while the match is paused. Then you commit. So does the opponent, in secret. Both plans run at the same time, in one short animated slice, and dice decide who wins each duel. You never see their orders before they hit yours. You have to read the coach across the table.

Twenty-four slices. Five a side. One pitch that looks like a chalkboard and plays like a war room.

SIMULTANEOUS, HIDDEN PLANNING

The match freezes. You sketch every player's run and action on the tactics board — drag the path, tap the target. The AI is sketching its own plan you can't see. Commit, and both plans execute together: your overlap meets their offside trap, your through-ball meets their interception, all resolving in the same locked slice. There is no reacting after the whistle. You plan for what you think they'll do.

DICE ON THE PITCH — A TABLETOP FEEL

Every contest that could go either way is a d20 + attributes roll: tackles, headers, receptions, shots, saves. Attributes are rated 1-10 and each one drives a real mechanic — Finishing sharpens a shot, Marking widens an interception, Composure bleeds away under pressure. You see the dice. You feel the odds swing. Sometimes the plan was perfect and the roll wasn't — that's football.

AN OPPONENT THAT READS YOU

The headline act is the Manager Brain — an AI coach, not a script. It holds a coached team shape instead of chasing the ball. It sticky man-marks your danger man once it works out who that is. It refuses to repeat itself, so the trick that scored last week won't score this week. It scouts you across the season, learning your habits and countering them. And it plays to a match goal — parking the bus when it's ahead, throwing numbers forward when it's chasing. You're not beating a difficulty setting.
