Leaving Early Access: Q1 2027

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Poly Kingdom: Siege is launching in Early Access because the core gameplay loop is playable and ready for players, but the game is still actively growing. Early Access gives us the chance to build alongside the community while improving balance, fixing issues, expanding content, and shaping the game based on real player feedback.

The foundation is in place; players can build their kingdom, manage resources, recruit workers and soldiers, defend their settlement, and push toward war against rival forces. However, we want player feedback to help guide improvements to pacing, difficulty, combat, economy balance, progression, and overall polish before the full release.

Our goal with Early Access is to make Poly Kingdom: Siege a stronger and more complete medieval kingdom building strategy game through consistent updates and community input.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Poly Kingdom: Siege is expected to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months.

This timeline may change depending on player feedback, the scope of future updates, and the amount of polish needed before the full release. Our goal is not to rush out of Early Access, but to use this period to improve balance, fix issues, expand content, and make sure the game feels stable, complete, and enjoyable before launching as a full release.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full version of Poly Kingdom: Siege to build on the Early Access foundation with more content, deeper balance, improved polish, and a more complete overall gameplay experience.

During Early Access, players can already build and manage a medieval settlement, gather resources, recruit workers and soldiers, defend their kingdom, and wage war against rival forces. As development continues, we plan to expand and refine several areas of the game, including kingdom progression, enemy encounters, combat balance, economy tuning, building variety, worker and soldier behavior, user interface improvements, performance, and general quality of life features.

We also plan to use player feedback to help guide which areas need the most attention, especially pacing, difficulty, strategy, and the overall feel of building and defending a growing kingdom. The full version is intended to feel more complete, stable, balanced, and polished than the Early Access version, with a stronger sense of progression and a more refined gameplay loop.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Poly Kingdom: Siege includes the core foundation of the game and is playable in its current state.

Players can begin building a medieval kingdom, gather and manage resources, construct buildings, assign workers, recruit soldiers, defend their settlement, and engage with the main strategy and kingdom management systems. The current version is focused on establishing the core gameplay loop of growing a settlement, managing an economy, preparing defenses, and pushing toward conflict with rival forces.

Because the game is still in Early Access, some areas are still being improved. Players may encounter bugs, balance issues, rough edges, missing polish, or systems that continue to change as development progresses. We are actively working on improvements to combat, economy balance, pacing, building progression, enemy behavior, user interface, performance, and overall stability.

The current Early Access version is intended for players who want to experience the game as it grows and provide feedback that can help shape future updates.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to keep Poly Kingdom: Siege priced fairly based on the amount of content and polish available during Early Access.

As the game grows, improves, and receives additional content, features, balance updates, and polish, the price may be adjusted to better reflect the expanded scope of the game. Any pricing changes would be considered carefully and communicated clearly to players.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community by listening closely to player feedback throughout Early Access and using it to help guide future updates and improvements.

Players are encouraged to share bug reports, balance concerns, gameplay suggestions, and general feedback about their experience with Poly Kingdom: Siege. Community feedback will be especially helpful for improving pacing, difficulty, combat, economy balance, kingdom progression, user interface, performance, and overall game feel.

While not every suggestion may fit the direction of the game, we plan to carefully review player feedback and use it to help prioritize fixes, improvements, and future development decisions. Our goal is to build a stronger game with the help of players who experience it firsthand during Early Access.
