Wear the Crown, or drive the world mad with Coin——

"Crown & Coin: The Hundred Years" is a "Medieval Historical Ensemble Sandbox RPG" set during the Hundred Years' War (1337–1453), boasting overwhelming freedom.

You are not a god looking down on history. You are a single human being surviving in a medieval Europe stained with blood, mud, and ambition. Will you follow the official history and become a hero, or will you shatter historical facts to forge an unprecedented new nation? Your choices will drive the 100 years of war.

■ 1,015 Historical Figures + Your Own "Original Protagonist"

From legendary heroes like Edward the Black Prince, Joan of Arc, and Bertrand du Guesclin, to ruthless mercenary captains (Routiers), inquisitors, the false Joan of Arc (des Armoises), and even the "Bourgeois of Paris" — all 1,015 real historical figures are fully playable! They are programmed with detailed parameters and affinities based on historical facts.

Furthermore, you can play as an "Original Protagonist" who starts from nothing to shape history. As you rise from a serf to a merchant, a knight, and eventually a king, your character's graphics will change to match your elevated status.

■ Overwhelming Freedom in Professions and Lifestyles

War is not the only way to live in the Middle Ages. Hone 15 different skills (from swordsmanship and archery to arithmetic, medicine, and blacksmithing) to carve your own path.

  • [Knight / Lord] Swear loyalty to a king, lead armies to capture castles, and gather fame in a classic royal playthrough.

  • [Merchant] Trade specialty goods and amass vast wealth to buy out entire armies as the "Ultimate Merchant."

  • [Mercenary / Bandit] Plunder (Chevauchée) lawless regions and rule through fear as a king of the underworld.

  • [Others] Become a "Miracle Doctor" curing the plague, a "Master Blacksmith" forging the ultimate weapons, a wandering "Troubadour," or even a "Pirate King." The playstyles are infinite.

■ The Ultimate Usurpation: "Coronation" at Reims Cathedral

This is not just a war of taking territories. If you establish your own new nation, conquer the holy site of "Reims Cathedral," and hold a coronation ceremony, you will be recognized by God as the legitimate "King of France."

In that instant, the former French royal family (the House of Valois) will be stripped of their throne and brutally demoted to the mere "Duchy of Valois." Usurp the historical legitimacy with your own power and become the founder of a new dynasty.

■ Ruthless Human Drama and Covert Operations

NPCs live their lives with their own ambitions, desires, and faith.

You can share a drink to become best friends, bribe an enemy commander to switch sides, or assassinate a political rival and make it look like an "accident."

Sometimes, you can even execute a cold-blooded starvation tactic by "cornering the flour market in an enemy's castle town to starve the entire population." And, transcending faction walls, you can swear eternal love and get married...

■ Custom Portraits: Just Drop PNGs in a Folder!

"Do you desperately want to survive the Hundred Years' War with your own avatar?"

Of course, you can! No complicated settings are required. Just put your favorite PNG images into a dedicated folder, and you can bring your very own original character into the game as the protagonist. Perfect for livestreaming or ultimate role-playing.

■ 5 Historical Scenarios and 22 Destinies

You can start the game from 5 distinct historical eras:

  • [1344] The Dawn of War and the Threat of the Black Death.

  • [1354] The Great Chevauchée of the Black Prince. An era rampant with bandits.

  • [1397] Usurpation and the Buds of the Rose (Power struggles and conspiracies).

  • [1413] The Miracle of Agincourt (The peak of England).

  • [1427] The Maid of Orléans (The brink of France's destruction and the arrival of the Holy Maiden).

  • [Custom] Free mode to start from any year you like.

History branches based on your actions. From leading a successful peasant rebellion to establish a republic ("Justice of the Serfs"), to uniting the world by swallowing England and France, or even synthesizing the "Philosopher's Stone." 22 multi-endings likened to Tarot cards await you.

Will you swing a sword, or spin a web of conspiracies? Paint your very own Hundred Years' War.
