Why Early Access?

“We’re launching in Early Access because HZ Industry already has a full gameplay loop—factory automation, colony defense, workshop storage and crafting, and real-time runs in The Abyss—but we want to balance progression, performance, and late-game content with real players before calling it 1.0. Your feedback will directly shape patches, QoL, and what we prioritize next.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Early Access to last roughly 6–12 months, depending on feedback, scope of improvements, and polish. We won’t rush to leave EA; we plan to exit when the game feels complete, stable, and fairly priced for a full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand content—more factory options, Abyss depth, meta progression, and quality-of-life—based on what players need most. The full release will focus on stability, onboarding, and performance on a wide range of PCs. We don’t guarantee every specific feature by name; we will keep the store page and announcements updated as plans evolve.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is playable from a new game through core systems: production lines and storage depots, city building and defense, workshop storage (gear, gems, crafting, fusion), and The Abyss as real-time champion combat. Some UI, balance, and edge cases are still rough; bugs may appear—we rely on reports to fix them quickly. Saves are intended to persist across updates, but we recommend occasional backups during EA.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to keep the same base price at 1.0 as during Early Access. If we ever change pricing, we will announce it clearly on Steam and give notice in advance. We will not surprise buyers with sudden increases without warning.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We use Discord for feedback, bug reports, and discussion, and we read **Steam discussions and reviews**. We prioritize fixes that affect the most players and publish patch notes with each update. As the community grows, we may add surveys or opt-in test branches for larger changes.”

About This Game

SPATIAL AUTOMATION & PRODUCTION

Lay out your factory cell by cell: extractors on the right terrain, furnaces, assemblers, lab, and belts (underpasses and splitters too). Route items through real production chains—from basics to high-tech output. Storage depots sit on the line: they buffer one resource type, respect input/output gates, and can feed critical loops (like keeping ammo moving to auto-turrets). Power the grid with poles, plants, solar, and batteries; the power core is the heartbeat of the whole operation.

WORKSHOP STORAGE, GEMS & CRAFTING

Beyond the factory floor, place workshop storage structures with their own grids: vaults for gear, heroes, gems, and loot. Craft advanced materials at the Workbench and Fabricator. Forge gems at the Prism Foundry. Use the Convergence Splicer to merge stacks into higher-tier tiles, or the Salvage shredder to convert extras into workshop scrap for deeper builds. Training furniture and the Abyss loadout dock tie this space directly to how strong your champion goes into danger.


CITY, CORE & PROGRESSION

Grow a colony with housing, farms, and city buildings. Your layout isn’t just pretty—it’s where raids hit home. Progression and economy tie industry, defense, and what you can unlock for The Abyss and workshop storage.

Waves don’t wait: walls, traps, auto-turrets fed by ammo, and hero defenses with different roles (single-target, AoE, poison, pulses…). How you zone the city matters as much as what you build on the factory side.

THE ABYSS — REAL-TIME CHAMPION RUNS

When you’re ready to leave the map, The Abyss is the combat game: real-time movement and skills under pressure, wave-style pressure, floors to clear, and rewards that ask you to push deeper. You prep your champion in the Abyss loadout dock, socket gear and gems you organized in workshop storage, and use training structures to grow baseline stats. Factory tech and city economy still gate what you can afford to build and field.

When you need to link regions, lay track and stations and run loads through the central corridor—without breaking your main production layout.
