About This Demo

Climb together or fall as one. SunderBound is a 2-player co-op top-down shooter with roguelite progression and tactical elements, set in a decaying dieselpunk world. With tech fried and time short, all that’s left is the climb one brutal floor at a time.

You play as two rebels fighting their way through Haven: a dystopian mega-structure ruled by a godlike tyrant known only as The Minister. Each level hits differently, throws harder enemies, deadlier traps, and pushes tougher decisions. Whether you team up with a friend or roll solo with a smart companion, you’ll need to cover each other, sync perks, and time every push to survive.

You’re here to survive the world. And maybe, break it a little on the way up.

SunderBound thrives on cooperation. Every fight, every revive, every clutch decision is tuned for two. Play side by side in couch co-op, team up online, or go solo with an AI companion who becomes your shadow, matches your pace, and listens to your commands.  However you play, it’s teamwork all the way up.

Combat in SunderBound is controlled chaos. Cover counts. Timing your rounds could be the difference between death and success. Lock in class combos, split flanks, and execute your pushes with precision. Every room’s a pressure test. If you panic, you’re done. Plan it right, and you make it look easy

Each mission is a brutal climb, a shifting sequence of procedurally generated floors packed with ambushes, enemy waves, and high-stakes boss battles. No two missions play exactly the same, with different paths, enemy spawns, and gameplay-changing perks. Learn fast. Push harder. Climb smarter.

Upgrade your characters and build your loadout your way: earn, buy, or craft gear that fits you. Weapons, perks, and augments sharpen your build with every step. Create synergies with your teammate, opening new tactical possibilities. It’s progression with purpose, every upgrade adds impact, precision and momentum.

Forget chrome and clean lines. This tower is brutalist, broken, and boiling with tension. Cracked concrete, busted wiring, and flickering warnings paint every floor. You’ll push through steam-choked factories, collapsed medical bays, and decayed corporate labs. It’s gritty, dense, and worn in the best way.
