About This Game

Run a restaurant on a planet that wants you gone.

You set out on this journey as a celebrated chef. Somewhere along the way, you became someone who cooks to survive. The ship crashed on a planet that will never open its doors to you. All that's left is you, Nekobot the service robot, and a kitchen that barely survived the crash. There is only one way to live here: turn the wreck into a restaurant and make money.

EVERYTHING HAS A PRICE

Everything you spend costs you something. Will you cook, make the restaurant worth visiting, or set out to explore? Or will you repair the ship, hoping to leave this planet behind? The game runs in real time with pause, and the clock is your hardest customer.

NEKOBOT, YOUR ONLY CREW

Nekobot is the only crew you have left. Send it into the unknown to chart routes and find out who else lives out there, or keep it close to help: research, repairs, serving tables, clearing the deck. Wherever Nekobot goes, it isn't somewhere else.

A RESTAURANT FROM THE WRECKAGE

Clear the debris, repair the kitchen, and place tables in what's left of the ship. Every repair and every scrap of salvage is a bet on tomorrow's customers.

THE EMPIRE IS WATCHING YOU

This planet belongs to the Empire. It sells you what you need at its market, then takes its tax from what you earn. Pay, or fall into debt and out of favor. The consequences arrive in uniform.

Out in the wastes, wandering traders offer another way. Nekobot just has to find them first.

WHAT WILL THIS KITCHEN BE?

Sooner or later, you have to decide what kind of restaurant you are running.

Serve the many: cheap food, long lines, and a planet that slowly learns to need you.

Or serve the few: the Empire's officers and the corrupt elite, who pay a fortune for rare meat and never ask where it came from. Out here, the rarest meat still walks and talks.

One path keeps you honest. The other keeps you rich. Neither keeps your hands clean.

A free demo is available now. Play the opening days of the Crash scenario.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

Galactic Kebab is a dark science-fiction management game in which the player runs a restaurant on a hostile alien world. In the style of games such as Frostpunk, it deals with morally difficult survival decisions. Depending on the choices the player makes, this can include preparing and serving dishes made from sentient alien species to other alien customers, alongside themes of killing, corruption and exploitation. Combat against alien creatures is stylized and non-realistic. The game is in active development and its final content is not yet locked; this description covers the mature themes we currently intend to include. The game contains no sexual content or nudity.
