Fly real Betaflight in SITL Forge. The built-in controller is replaced with Betaflight firmware running on your PC — you fly and tune the same code you flash to your quad, driven by 1000 Hz physics fitted to real bench data.

Requires the base app: SITL Forge - FPV Laboratory.

Connect in 3 steps

1. Build the SITL from Betaflight source: make SITL_X_PLANE
   
2. Run betaflight_SITL_X_PLANE.elf
   
3. In SITL Forge: External FC → Betaflight → Activate

Your sticks work right away. To tune live, connect Betaflight Configurator to ws://127.0.0.1:6761 — the WebSocket bridge is built in, no proxy needed.

What you get

• 1000 Hz motor/state link and 50 Hz RC link — joystick or RC transmitter
  
• MSP over TCP and WebSocket for Configurator and tools
  
• Old and new Betaflight SITL builds detected automatically (motor order, bridge dialect)
  
• Firmware can run on another PC or in WSL — host and ports set in-app
  
• Tune PIDs, rates and filters against simulated motor vibration, without risking hardware

Compatibility

You build Betaflight SITL yourself this DLC does not include Betaflight binaries. Step-by-step setup is in the app. Tested with Betaflight 4.5+ and current master.
