„We'd like to get SATANIC PANIC into the hands of players as soon as possible for purposes of collecting feedback and hearing the thoughts of its growing community on things like game balance and art direction as the game changes and evolves over time. “

Přibližně jak dlouho bude tato hra v předběžném přístupu?

„Until it's done. Possibly a year or more. Additions to the game will be made over this time, and once we feel the game is truly complete it'll leave early access and we'll begin work on a new project.“

Jak se bude plná verze lišit od předběžného přístupu?

„Currently, a run is made up of 6 levels; 3 distinct areas with 2 parts each. New content is planned to take the form of new areas and changes to existing areas; we plan to add at least 2 alternate areas for each third of the game, which will come with new enemies and level gimmicks. Besides this, there are also plans for new Demons (your "towers"), new Angels (the enemies), new upgrades, new game modes, and more.“

„Probably, but the price will only be increased by a small amount. We care a lot about the game being accessible to players, and a high price point would go against our want for as many people to play as possible. There's a good chance the current price will be its final price and a good chance it won't.“

Our highest priority is to make something that people find fun, and an important part of that, to us, is to listen to what the players have to say. SATANIC PANIC is a fantastical strategy tower defense with heavy Roguelike elements. A war has broken out between Heaven and Hell, and Satan himself has entrusted you with a small army of chibi Biblically Accurate Demons to defend the layers of hell against an endless onslaught of Angelic assaults. Discover countless combinations and unique synergies between your Demons, Powers, and Upgrades in this infinitely replayable "Plants vs. Zombies" inspired roguelike. 

There are six, progressively harder, randomized levels of Angel slaying action, each interspersed with a trip to a shop in which Satan himself takes your money in exchange for goods and services (Hell appears to be going through a recession.)

Buy new types of Demons with a variety of abilities, then upgrade them to strengthen your defense in order to stand any chance against God's army. Each of your Demons (your defending units) can be given a variety of upgrades which can give them new abilities and effects, and the upgrades and Demons you're given are never the same twice in a row, allowing SATANIC PANIC to be played over and over and over.

  • 9 total unique defending Demon units, which do things like...

    • ...explode Angels that walk in front of them!

    • ...fire shots that redirect into strong Angels!

    • ...heal your other Demons!

  • Over 50 upgrades to make your Demons stronger, like...

    • ...making your Demons' shots electrify the Angels they hit!

    • ...reducing the time or cost it takes to manifest a new Demon!

    • ...making the type of Demon which manifests the life force all Demons require to live... do that more often!

  • And 9 different Powers, special abilities you can activate mid-level to trigger powerful effects like...

    • ...freezing all Angels on screen!

    • ...allowing you to control where your Demons' shots go!
