The Manor is Breathing.

In most social deduction games, you're looking for a "red name" or a suspicious movement. In [Who Haunts The Haunters?], the evidence is environmental. As an Intruder commits sins—stealing treasures or extinguishing spirits—their presence begins to decay the very world around them.

  • Environmental Paranoia (The Taint System)

    • No more UI-based suspicion meters.

    • Stage 1: Only you can hear the high-pitched ringing in your ears.

    • Stage 2: Birds screech as you pass, and candles flare blue when you're near.

    • Stage 3: The room freezes, frost creeps onto others' screens, and the whispers of the dead follow you everywhere.

  • Spiritual Stability: A Living Win-Condition

    • The game doesn't just end on a timer. The Manor’s "Stability" gauge shifts with every action.

    • The Corruption Phase (<30%): Vines block your paths, and the "Mirror of Regret" shatters, releasing sealed players back into the game—but they return corrupted.

    • The Purification Phase (>70%): Secret vaults open and safe zones are established, protecting the innocent.

  • The Asura’s Hour

    • The Intruders’ kill cooldowns drop to 10 seconds, turning a game of cat-and-mouse into a frantic slaughter.

    • Will you hide in the dark, or risk a ritual to bring the stability back up?

  • Authentic Eastern Rituals

    • Perform "Purification Rituals" based on traditional folklore.

    • Feed the sorrowful koi fish by predicting their swimming paths, or awaken the Will-o'-the-wisps in the stone lanterns.

The Dead Don't Leave.

Being killed isn't the end. Become a Lingering Spirit to gather fragments of regret and help your team from beyond the grave. Or, if you were an Intruder, haunt the rituals of the living to ensure the Manor falls.
