About This Game

My Text Cultivation World 2

This is the first commercial text-based immortal cultivation online game developed by two independent creators. After over 100 days of operation for the first version, we encountered irreparable fundamental mechanical flaws. Therefore, we optimized the game’s attributes and gameplay based on the original work, giving birth to My Text Cultivation World 2.

We uphold the pure gaming experience of classic PC online games. Centered on high freedom, true randomness, pure drop mechanics, and no forced paywall, we have crafted this immersive online cultivation game featuring real-time battlefield combat and open marketplace trading. Due to limited development resources, the game still has many areas to be improved. We sincerely welcome suggestions from every player, and aim to polish this original cultivation journey together with all fellow cultivators.

Core Cultivation Gameplay — High Freedom Without Restrictions

The game focuses on online cultivation, spiritual plant growth, and alchemical pill refining. Complete sect quests and donate sect treasures to earn Sect Merits, which can be exchanged for a massive collection of mental arts, combat techniques and secret scrolls.

In your spare time, you can travel to training grounds, challenge World Bosses, explore secret realms and mysterious lands, or conquer the Star Chess Realm. You may also chat and duel with fellow cultivators, take part in the Sect Grand Tournament to gain fame, status and abundant rewards.

Four Major Sects — Exclusive Cultivation Paths

The game features four unique sects, each with its own innate core mental art and exclusive cultivation routes. There are no entry restrictions — you may freely choose the sect that suits your cultivation journey:

• Heavenly Sword Sect: The exclusive choice for sword-style techniques. All sword skills come with 30% armor penetration. The maxed mental art Heart Insight Sword Art grants 150 Sword Intent and 15% Physical & Magic Critical Chance.

• Chixiao Sect: Perfect for Fire / Lightning attribute techniques. Fire spells deal stackable burn damage; Lightning techniques deal mixed physical and magical damage with strong crowd control. The maxed mental art Xia Yan Thunder Formula increases Fire & Lightning Attribute and Fire & Lightning Resistance by 150 points each.

• Liuyue Sect: The top pick for Water / Earth attribute techniques. Water skills scale damage based on True Essence, specializing in slow effects, healing and buffs. Earth skills scale damage with your defense — the higher your defense, the stronger your attack. The maxed mental art Liuyue Canon raises Water & Earth Attribute and Water & Earth Resistance by 150 points each.

• Lingbao Hall: Specialized in Spirit Treasure enhancement. The maxed mental art Lingbao Imperial Classic boosts Spirit Treasure Attack & Defense by 20% and True Essence Regeneration by 1%, greatly increasing treasure usage times. There are no limits on technique selection, allowing fully personalized builds.

Core Sect Gameplay — Immersive Daily Cultivation

• Sect Main Hall: Donate resources to upgrade sect level and personal merits. Rise step by step from Handyman Disciple all the way to Core Disciple. Complete quests issued by assessment elders to gain merits, and compete in Outer Sect / Inner Sect / Elite Grand Tournaments to defeat rivals and claim generous ranking rewards.

• Sect Treasure Workshop: Exchange Sect Merits for entry-level mental arts, combat techniques, medicinal herbs and pills. You can also purchase functional items and exclusive fashion skins with Immortal Jade.

• Sect Alchemy Chamber: Unlock pill recipes and level up your alchemy proficiency to refine various immortal pills. All alchemical materials can only be collected in-game.

• Sect Abode: A dedicated place for online meditation and cultivation. Upgrading your abode speeds up cultivation (requires corresponding sect rank). For players with limited time, Hundredfold Secret Realm accelerated cultivation is available. You can claim free Secret Realm Tokens daily based on your sect position.

• Sect Training Zone: Unlock new exploration areas as your cultivation realm advances. Explore via tile-flipping gameplay to collect Spirit Stones, equipment/spirit treasure fragments and heavenly rare materials. Encounter and slay wild beasts to obtain rare gear and items.

• Sect Spiritual Plant Garden: Every disciple starts with 10 spiritual fields, with more unlocked as your sect status improves. Upgrade fields to grow higher-grade spiritual herbs, allowing you to self-supply all your alchemical materials.

Equipment & Spirit Treasures — Hundreds of Build Combinations

Equipment System — Realm Adaptation & Tier Progression

Equipment is divided into 10 grades, corresponding to the ten major cultivation realms. Each grade has Early, Mid and Late stages matching different cultivation levels. Every grade includes 12 pieces of gear: 6 weapons and 6 armors, with 5 quality tiers: Low Grade, Mid Grade, High Grade, Mystic Grade and Heavenly Grade.

All equipment comes with base attributes and random affix attributes. Base attributes can be enhanced and upgraded, while affixes can be freely re-rolled with no cultivation limits. Earth-type players can stack shield defense to maximize damage; sword-type players can equip swords, blades, spears and more for burst output — fully customized to your own cultivation build.

Spirit Treasure System — Offense & Defense with Auto Combat

Spirit Treasures follow the same 10-grade progression and 4 quality tiers as equipment, supporting enhancement and affix re-rolling. They can only be unlocked and used when you reach the required cultivation realm, and consume True Essence upon use.

Spirit Treasures are split into offensive and defensive types. Offensive treasures automatically consume True Essence to launch attacks; with sufficient combat power, you can farm monsters solo without manual operation. Defensive treasures provide exclusive shields; a strong enough shield can negate all incoming damage. Mix offense and defense to forge your exclusive cultivation combat strength.

Mental Arts & Combat Techniques — Unrestricted Free Matching

The game offers dozens of mental arts and combat techniques across 5 tiers, with higher tiers granting stronger effects. There are no class or sect restrictions on learning — you are free to match your own build.

• Mental Arts: Passive effects that take effect immediately after learning, permanently boosting your combat power.

• Combat Techniques: Active skills that must be equipped for battle; up to 6 techniques can be equipped at the same time.

Techniques are categorized by attributes: Sword (Physical Damage), Fire (Magic Damage), Lightning (Crowd Control), Earth (Defense), Water (Healing & Support). Team up with other players to complement each other’s strengths and clear content effortlessly. All techniques are dropped in-game; rare high-tier techniques drop randomly from World Bosses, obtained purely by luck.

Free Trading — Authentic Play-to-Earn Experience

The in-game Auction House supports unrestricted player-to-player trading. Materials, items, equipment, spirit treasures and techniques can all be listed for sale, bringing true free play-to-earn fun. Rare drops such as Mystic Grade gear/treasures and Heavenly/God Grade techniques from Boss fights and secret realms can be sold at the Auction House for massive Spirit Crystals. Spirit Crystals circulate freely in the market, rewarding both your luck and hard work.
