About This Game

In the Old World, humanity had always struggled to live in peace with one another. Countless wars scarred the ages. But the Last War… the Last War was unlike any before it.

It began as a desperate struggle for dwindling resources. Nations rose against nations, each fighting for their own survival. The conflict swelled, unstoppable, until war engulfed the entire globe. Cities fell to ash. Forests burned. Oceans choked. There was no victor.

Humanity was nearly erased, and the Earth itself was left smoldering. Nature collapsed. The world became a heavily polluted, barely livable wasteland. Dark times followed.

The few who survived sought shelter wherever they could, gathering in scattered remnants of community. The wars, combined with the pollution already poisoning the world, drove the climate into chaos. Seas rose. Continents shifted. The Earth was reshaped by ruin.

Yet after many long years, nature began to heal. Sunlight pierced the clouds once more, and new forests clawed their way back into existence. Slowly, the Earth became habitable again — reborn, but forever changed.

Humanity returned as well. People gathered, and the population grew. They built heavily fortified walled cities, seeking protection from everything that lurked beyond their borders.

There were the cities .. and there was the vast, unknown, dangerous land surrounding them, known only as the Wastelands. In time, the walled cities united, forming a single alliance: The Wall Alliance.

You are Sam. Sam lives within the walls of the Wall Alliance. Your adventure begins on the day you visit your grandpa to live with him in his house.
