About This Content

Unused tracks, alternative recording and early sketches made during the creation of A Chamber of Stars. The included songs are as follows.

• 1. For Your Entertainment

  The original song that played during the TV show interviews, replaced by the song 'A Place in Heaven' in the final version of the game. Later this unused song was sampled by the song 'Head' in the final soundtrack.

• 2. Cloud of Debris

  An unused track recorded around the same time as 'Chamber' from the final soundtrack.

• 3. Morning Sun (First Version)

  The first recording of the song 'Intro (Morning Sun)' with an additional guitar part.

• 4. Electric Rose

  The final section of the Opus and the song used for the game's tutorial, here it is separated into an individual solo track.

• 5. Uplifting (Demo Title)

  The track used on the title screen of ACoS first demo.

• 6. Factory Today

  A song created for the factory section in the Anxiety chapter, later replaced by 'Drumloop' in the final version.

• 7. Desert Sky

  Originally made for the wasteland section of the Anxiety chapter but was replaced by Setting Sun in the final version.

• 8. Fresh

  One of many guitar and bass sketches made during the process of game development.

• 9. Honeydew

  A song made in a similar manner to 'Vibrant Charm' from the final soundtrack.

• 10. Bassline Doodle

  A silly bass guitar sketch made while learning how to record music for the Ecstasy chapter.

• 11. Insouciance/Tears

  A song recorded near the end of chapter 2-1 while  trying to bridge the gap between Ecstasy and Lament. An attempt at making a "sad" Ecstasy song.

• 12. Stymie

  A unused song made for travel around the manor in the Lament chapter.

• 13. Time and Again

  A unused song made for travel around the manor in the Lament chapter.

• 14. Upstairs

  A unused song made for travel around the manor in the Lament chapter.

• 15. Ice

  A song made for the Lament chapter later replaced by 'Antiques' in the final version.

• 16. Haunted

  A song made for the end of the Lament chapter, replaced by 'Rotting Gears' in the final version.

• 17. Horns

  A song made early in the Anger chapter while experimenting with horns as one of the main instruments for the chapter.

• 18. Sharp Things

  A song made between The Endless Empty and A Chamber of Stars before the Anger chapter was written. The piano against the loud distorted guitars was reflective of the song "Roseate' in TEE.

• 19. Rabble

  Another song for traveling the Anger chapter, using horns as a main instrument.

• 20. Stabbing

  An unfinished song made during the Anger chapter inspired by dance-punk. In the end it didn't really fit the vibe of the chapter, perhaps more of a Anxiety + Anger collaboration.

• 21. Surface

  An unfinished song made for traveling through the Logic chapter, meant to play sometime during the beach area.

• 22. Buzz

  An unused song made for another project while deep into the production of music for the Logic chapter.

• 23. Mind Practice

  The first attempt at making the track '(The Mind)' the final playable song in the Logic chapter.
