This story begins when your obscure baseball career as an undrafted walk-on is about to come to a miserable end.

You happen to find a wishing "Monkey's Paw" and make a desperate wish: "Make me the best hitter on the team."

But alas... you really should have read the fine print.

The Monkey's Paw flipped you the bird and flashed a bright light.

The next thing you know, you've been transported to an alternate universe where a baseball team is made entirely of Welsh Corgi beastmen!

Every time you try to run away, you mysteriously end up back at the stadium. Then, you hear two voices.

A sinister one warns: "Win every league to break the curse. Fail twice, and your soul is mine."
