Why Early Access?

“ONE HIT OUT currently features a complete gameplay loop, but we feel the content is still lacking. Only 1 out of 6 planned maps has been completed, and we want to release early to gather player feedback while continuing to develop and add the remaining maps. Early Access allows us to improve the game with real player input as we build toward the full experience we envision.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to stay in Early Access for approximately 3 to 6 months. However, this may vary depending on the feedback we receive and the scope of updates needed.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the game with additional maps during Early Access. Planned ideas include maps featuring mechanics such as shrinking play areas, environmental hazards, and unique movement effects. We will continue improving game balance and polishing the overall experience based on community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version includes core gameplay with 2-player online co-op, multiple stages, a variety of enemy spawners, a ranking system, Steam achievements, and localization support for English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese. The game is fully playable from start to finish.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“ONE HIT OUT is and will remain free to play. There are no plans to charge for the game during or after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to communicate with players through the Steam Community Hub and discussion boards. We will actively read feedback, respond to bug reports, and consider player suggestions when planning updates.”
