About This Game

In ADUR Azken Erronka you will be able to live many adventures in the Basque mythological Middle Ages. Travel across a large map of the Basque Country, discover creatures and gods from the Basque mythology, improve your equipment, learn spells, get travel companions, and face many quests!

To move forward, you will have to use and improve your main skills: strength, dexterity, intelligence and charisma. Gathering equipment in markets or side quests, and upgrading your weapons and armor will be fundamental to your success.  The same can be said about gathering friends that will help you on the road. Finally, you will have the help of the Adur, the life force that will enable you cast spells after learning them with witches and wizards across the land.

Choose from different character builds and get different proffessions to improve specific skills. Each build will let you advance in diverse traits to overcome your enemies: build up your strength to yield close-combat weapons better; your dexterity to gain agility and extra actions; your intelligence for powerful spell casting; or your charisma to get new travel companions that help in combat. Also, you will be able to choose between being proficient in being die-hard, or mastering the Adur for spell casting. 

Main game mechanic is based on tossing five unique coins featuring an eagle and a crow that resemble Basque ancient auguries done by bird divination. To achieve an action, your goal is to get five eagles by combining the coin toss successes with your base ability number and the corresponding modifiers. To advance successfully in your path, praise for the good omen birds, and avoid dark omen ones that fly over you. To track your advance in the main quest, you will have the Hero's path depiction, showing main mailestones already achieved, and challenges you are still facing.

Following the main quest line, and exploring a large map featuring hundreds of places and side quests, you will be able to roam in an open world set in the Basque Country of the mythic Middle Ages, where history and Basque mythology combine for an unforgettable story. The neighbour kingdom is preparing an invasion of the Basque lands, and also a group of dark cultists is seeking the demise of the old ways of the life force Adur. You are the key for the survival of the Basque medieval kingdom, and searching for the help of mythic creatures and travelling to the land of the gods themselves is your only hope. Will you be able to protect the Basque people from the threat that comes upon them?

The game's turn-based combat system allows for developing different strategies such as straightforward attacking, careful defense planning, or casting powerful spells using the life force Adur. Overcoming the main adversaries will not be easy, but you will be able to study the strategy best suited for your character at any moment of the combat. Also, the interface is embellished with colorful animations and sound effects that will provide a thrilling experience.
