In Syntaris, you do not spend your time juggling individual workers. You design the system that directs them. Every module, route, and production chain is part of a larger network, and your job is to shape that network into something efficient, resilient, and scalable.

Start with a single mine and a handful of workers, then expand into a layered industrial base with factories, depots, power structures, research centers, and advanced production lines. Workers handle hauling, construction, and production tasks automatically, while you decide how the base is organized, which modules belong together, and how resources move through the system.

Build and Connect

Place modules and connect them into a network. Position matters because distance affects transport efficiency, power distribution, and defense. Clustering related modules speeds up logistics and reduces power loss, but concentrating critical infrastructure in one place creates a vulnerability. Every layout decision is a tradeoff.

Shape Local Economies

As your base grows, a single centralized system becomes inefficient. You can organize modules into local groups that produce, store, and distribute resources more independently. Each group functions as a partial economy inside the larger base, cutting down long transport chains and making large industrial networks easier to manage and adapt.

Control Logistics with Rules

Logistics runs automatically, but the rules are yours to set. Define how materials should flow by assigning input and output priorities, directing resources through specific routes, or routing supply through designated storage points. You are not watching the system run. You are deciding how it behaves.

Research and Progression

Research unlocks new modules, technologies, and production chains. Progress from basic extraction and processing to advanced industry including fusion energy, antimatter production, and quantum computing. Each discovery opens new ways to organize and optimize your base.

Defend and Conquer

Enemy factions build their own economies, defenses, and military forces. When conflict begins, command soldiers, tanks, aircraft, turrets, and laser systems in real time to defend your base or push into enemy territory. When you break through, you do not just destroy what they built. You capture it. Enemy factories, depots, and production lines can be absorbed into your own network and put to work immediately.

Analyze and Optimize

Track production output, consumption, economic efficiency, and group-level performance to find bottlenecks and fix them. The goal is not just to grow. It is to build a system that works better every time you refine it.
