Why Early Access?

“Gunslinger Trainer has been developed with a quick and iterative process in which has seen it rapidly shaped by the ideas of the people who have tried the game out. We wanted to expand on this and allow the entire steam community to help shape the game along the majority of its development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We’ve used a rapid and iterative development process on this game thus far. We’re currently looking at 6 Months to 1 Year, however this could be earlier or later. It’s all dependent on any bumps in the development of the project.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will expand on the current core of the game. There will be multiple levels including the Outpost, A Saloon and a Western Street. Each level will have different interactable objects, as well as different variations of the core shooter game. An example is that the Saloon may have a greater emphasis on shooting as many bottles within a time frame.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Early Access currently includes an early version of the Western Outpost level and several targets to practice shooting on which only makes use of the revolvers.
The items at the outpost are also fully intractable and can be picked up, manipulated and thrown.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The pricing for the game may change after Early Access, depending on the amount of additional content that is added into the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The game started with a Devlog detailing updates that were being made every other day to the game and people could pitch in ideas and suggestions.

We want to continue this by shifting the Devlog onto the steam community forums and allow the community the ability to suggest ideas, features and content that they would like to see in the game.

Together we can shape Gunslinger Trainer into the western VR experience that we all want.”
