A silent city. A lone cartographer. A voice waiting somewhere beyond the ruins

In Lumina: Prelude, you play as Aria Vélter, a cartographer entering the outskirts of a vast abandoned city. What begins as an expedition soon leads deeper into a place of sealed pathways, dormant machinery and forgotten systems.

As Aria explores, the city begins to respond. Terminals come back online. Machinery awakens. New routes open. And somewhere within Lumina, a mysterious voice begins to speak to her.

Progress through Lumina by exploring its abandoned spaces, finding ways through its industrial ruins and restoring systems that have remained dormant for years.

Puzzles are integrated into the environment and built around spatial reasoning, observation and experimentation. Trace connections, manipulate pieces, understand mechanisms and use what you discover to open the way forward.

Awaken a Dead City

Lumina is not just a backdrop. Restoring power and interacting with its systems changes the spaces around you. Machinery starts moving, lights return, structures react and previously inaccessible paths become part of your route through the city.

Piece Together What Happened

Lumina has been abandoned, but it is far from empty of stories.

Documents, recordings and traces left throughout the environment reveal fragments of the people who once lived there. Through Aria's PDA, these discoveries gradually form interconnected stories about the city and its past.

But not every answer is buried in the archives.
