Story

Three years ago, the magicians of the Bright Star won their war against the non-magic denizens of their planet's twin, the Dim Star, stealing from them their land and subjugating them to a life of servitude under the magic users. In the past three years, the formerly united magicians have separated into their new territories, and have begun their long-term goals on the Dim Star. One such group, the Deep Magic Scholars, have been searching for ancient ruins spoken of in legends, and have found a solid lead within the Swell - the storm that acts as the barrier between the Twin Stars.

Intel reaches the Aspen Isles Mercdom - a small country founded by former mercenaries - that the Scholars have banded together with the Central Dominators - a military-run country seeking to conquer the Dim Star's Central Continent - and are dangerously close to uncovering a secret better left hidden.

Upon receiving this intel, the Aspen Isles dispatches an elite mercenary to put their ambitions to rest, or die trying.
