🌴 Weekly Jobless Isle: Core Gameplay & Content Overview

✨ Core Game Setting

In a human world ruled by AI, society is split between New Humans and Old Humans. To satisfy their twisted desires, New Humans regularly cast unemployed people and survival supplies onto this desolate isle every week—alongside zombies and other unknown, terrifying creatures. You can choose to survive as a lone wanderer, roaming freely across the island... or become a leader: manage exiles, build a camp, and try to rebuild a small, kinder society from the ruins.

📋 Content Module Breakdown (Matching In-Game Tabs)

Characters

You can customize exiles’ appearances, skills, and backstories. Each character has unique survival expertise (such as hunting, medicine, construction, or negotiation) as well as personal flaws and psychological trauma. As the game progresses, characters will form complex relationships—trust, suspicion, affection, and more—and may even betray you due to resource scarcity or fear.

Enemies

Beyond the weekly zombie hordes, the island hosts mutated creatures and mechanical hunters unleashed by New Humans. Zombies evolve over time, gaining stronger aggression and special abilities; mutated creatures have distinct ecological behaviors, growing more feral at night or during rainstorms; mechanical hunters track living signals with pinpoint accuracy, making them an unavoidable deadly threat.

Weapons

From primitive stone axes and wooden spears to late-game firearms, explosives, and energy weapons, you’ll craft tools tailored to different scenarios using island resources and weekly airdrops. Weapons have durability and maintenance requirements, and over-reliance on firearms may attract stronger enemies—forcing you to balance power and risk.

Props

These include essential survival items (food, water, medicine), building materials, tool components, and special tech props dropped by New Humans (e.g., signal jammers, temporary shield generators). Some props are time-sensitive or have unique interactive effects, potentially turning the tide of a survival crisis.

Effects

Cover environmental impacts (e.g., hypothermia from heavy rain, reduced visibility in fog), character states (hunger, fatigue, infection, psychosis), and temporary buffs (e.g., speed boosts from eating rare plants, defense bonuses from tech props). Managing these effects is critical to long-term survival.

Events

Random events trigger every week: new exiles may arrive seeking help, zombie hordes could surge early, or New Humans might drop special supplies—or deadly creations—onto the island. Events directly impact camp resources, character relationships, and island ecology, and your choices will permanently alter the game’s course.

Vehicles

In later stages, you can craft basic vehicles (e.g., rafts, dune buggies) or modified armed vehicles using scrap materials and airdrop tech. Vehicles drastically improve mobility and resource transport efficiency, but require fuel and part maintenance—and may become high-priority targets for enemies.

Maps

The island features diverse terrain: dense jungles, rugged mountains, abandoned coastlines, radioactive exclusion zones, and more. Each area has distinct resource distributions and danger levels. The map dynamically changes with weekly events (e.g., tsunamis submerging coasts, earthquakes opening new caves), ensuring exploration always feels fresh.

Buildings

From makeshift shelters to fully functional camps, you can freely construct defenses, production facilities, medical stations, and social spaces. Buildings provide safe haven, boost exiles’ morale and productivity, but demand careful resource allocation and defensive planning to fend off external threats and internal conflicts.

🎮 Core Gameplay Highlights

  • Dual Path Choice: Lone wolf survival vs. camp management—one focuses on free exploration and extreme survival, the other on resource coordination and social governance.

  • Dynamic Survival Cycle: Weekly resets of supplies and threats keep survival unpredictable, avoiding the monotony of repetitive labor.

  • Humanity Simulation: Characters’ emotions and relationships directly affect camp operations, forcing tough choices between morality and survival.

  • High-Freedom Building: Modular construction lets you design camps of wildly different styles, even attempting to rebuild a miniature civilization.

Welcome to Weekly Jobless Isle. This week’s exile has begun.
