What is the Demo?

The demo of Red Experience presents an independent parallel-world scenario separate from the main game. Without directly revealing the main story’s core settings or major twists, the demo allows players to experience the game’s central gameplay of creating new possibilities through choices and repetition.

The protagonist, Sooyeon Hong, is trapped in an unidentified location with the other participants and forced to take part in a strange game. At first, it appears to be a simple incident, but contradictions gradually begin to emerge between the participants’ testimonies and the clues left at the scene.

Players must investigate the area, speak with the participants, and uncover the truth behind the incident through discussion. However, it is impossible to obtain every piece of information through a single set of choices.

Even if a wrong decision causes someone to be suspected or results in the truth being overlooked, the story does not end there. By returning to the past and choosing different actions, players can discover clues, conversations, and hidden choices that were not available during the first playthrough.

The demo consists of the following core elements.

Story Part

Progress through the incident by speaking with the characters and making choices. The participants’ reactions and the events that follow will change depending on the player’s actions.

Investigation Part

Investigate the scene of the incident and collect clues and evidence. Some information can only be discovered by revisiting the incident with knowledge gained from a previous playthrough.

Discussion Part

Compare the participants’ testimonies with the clues you have collected and take part in discussions. Find lies and contradictions, and choose the conclusion that comes closest to the truth behind the incident.

Route Exploration

Return to the past, change your choices, and discover new routes that were previously unavailable. Collect scenes and clues that cannot be found in a single playthrough and gradually piece together the full picture of the incident.

Although this demo presents an incident separate from the main story, it retains the core structure of Red Experience: experiencing the consequences of your choices, returning to the past, and creating new possibilities.

Main Game Description

What is “Red Experience”?

Red Experience is a multi-ending, 2D adventure discussion death game that emphasizes the importance of choice. Every decision you make directly affects not only the fates of the characters, but also the game’s final outcome and whether you can reach the hidden truth.

The protagonist, Sooyeon Hong, awakens in an unfamiliar place with only vague memories. There, she is forced by a strange masked figure to participate in a brutal game.

However, something is not right. Too many strange details begin to emerge for this to be a simple death game caused by an ordinary kidnapping. Players must constantly consider which choices will allow Sooyeon Hong to move closer to the hidden truth behind the game.

The gameplay is divided into three main parts.

Story Part

Follow the game’s story while experiencing an immersive narrative.

Escape Part

Investigate rooms and solve puzzles within a limited time in order to escape. Search for the clues you need to survive while under constant pressure.

Discussion Part

Take part in discussions with the other participants based on a given topic. Your logic and ability to persuade others will determine the fate of the survivors.
