About This Game

Welcome to Business Defence, the tower defence game brought to you by Bachgen Business Boy!

Step into Business Land and meet BBB (Bachgen Business Boy), a CEO who found absolute decision-making power through the Business Gizmo, a device that lets him make executive decisions and carry them out instantly, without the need to listen to annoying stakeholders.

Naturally, the use of the Business Gizmo causes BBB to become completely out of touch. No amount of coupons or vague promises about sustainability will save him now; BBB is going to need to learn about stakeholders all over again. But right now, the protestors are outside, and it's up to you to defend headquarters using the very Gizmo that got him into this mess!

Business Defence is a tower defence game where your entire arsenal is built from corporate towers. Deploy the Coupon Cannon to chip away at the crowd, call in the Sustainability Sniper to hit idealistic youngsters with some greenwashing, or launch the Marketing Mortar to get the message out there. You'll need more than good intentions to keep the protestors at bay across small, medium, and large maps.

But who are these protestors, and what do they actually want? As you progress through BBB's journey, the lines between villain and hero get blurry... actually, no, it's pretty clear BBB isn't the good guy here, and no PR team is fixing that. Still, maybe, just maybe, the protestors are exactly the stakeholders he forgot to listen to in the first place, and defending against them might just teach him a lesson.

Featuring an original soundtrack composed by Welsh musician A. Blank, the full tracklist can be enjoyed at your leisure using the main menu's built-in music player.

Designed for casual players with full mouse and touchpad support, Business Defence automatically adjusts its visuals to suit your hardware, targeting a steady 60 FPS.

While not solely an educational game, Business Defence encourages players to think conscientiously about business decisions and why listening to others is important. The game’s story includes a basic educational introduction based on the Stakeholder Salience Model (Mitchell, Agle, and Wood, 1997). Instead of Power, Legitimacy, and Urgency, BBB uses his own version, categorising groups by those with power, those who care for the organisation, and those with needs.

Business Defence is a prequel to Bachgen Business Boy’s "Little Leaders" picture book series. Educational materials, information about the books, and the game manual are available on our official website.
