Tentang Demo Ini

You are the only psychologist working nights in the lower district.

The institution sends you patients. You talk to them. Then you write an evaluation, sign it, and press the stamp.

What you write decides whether that person walks out.

The conversation is not a puzzle

While a patient speaks, certain words light up. You can do one of two things with each:

Ask. The conversation opens. New doors appear. But everything you ask tells the man across the desk what you're looking for.

Write it down. The word is yours — at the end of the night you can draw a conclusion from it. But the conversation doesn't move.

Never both. And your ink always runs out before your questions do.

You cannot reach every word in a night. You always finish a session incomplete.

You can't measure him. You have to read him.

There's no mood bar. No percentage. Only how his voice comes out, what his hands are doing, when he stops talking.

Touch the wrong word and he closes — and asking anything while he's angry burns the question for nothing. Ask the right thing at the right moment and he opens.

But one thing you never learn: is that what he feels, or what he's learned to show?

A man who has been evaluated for nineteen years may understand evaluations better than you do.

End of the night

The session ends and the screen drops to your desk. A heavy book, a notebook, a stamp, a small card.

Click a word in your notebook and two conclusions appear. Both fit the evidence. Both are defensible. The game does not tell you which one is true.

The one you choose is written into the book. You press the stamp onto the card. And to end the night you pick that card up and drag it into the book yourself.

There is no "end day" button. You have to put the decision in there with your own hand.

The next night, what you wrote comes back. Get it right and he opens up. Get it wrong and he shuts down — or, correcting you, says something you never expected.

No screen ever tells you that you were wrong.

📌 About the Demo

This demo covers two nights with a single patient, Mornet. It runs about 15 minutes and cuts off at the moment things start to rise.

The demo exists to show you how the game thinks. The word system, the notebook, reading mood, the conclusions, and the way a conclusion comes back the following night — all of it is here and fully working. That loop is what we want you to see.

What isn't in the demo yet:

  • The visuals will absolutely be improved. The art here is a working draft. Character animation, lighting, and the office itself are all being rebuilt.

  • More mechanics are coming. The stamp is inert in the demo — in the full game it carries multiple marks with real consequences. And there's no guarantee your notebook stays reliable forever.

  • Many more characters, each with a full history. Their own past, their own web of words, their own number of nights. Mornet is a starting point — the most legible one.

If you play it, we'd like to hear what you thought. Especially this: which conclusion did you choose, and why?
