About This Game

Overview

Rogue Battler is a retro-inspired minimalist auto-battler with roguelike progression, where every decision shapes your run.

Fight your way through a sequence of encounters, choose your path, adapt your build, and survive as long as possible in a fast-paced, strategic loop.

Auto-Battler Combat

Combat is fully automated. Once a battle begins, your character attacks, regenerates, and triggers effects based on their stats.

Victory depends on how well you prepare:

• Attack, Critical Chance, and Speed define your offense

• Defense, Evasion, and Shield determine your survivability

• Health, Regen, and Leech sustain you over time

There is no manual input during combat — only your decisions before it.

Choose Your Path

Before each fight, you are presented with multiple rooms.

Each room determines the type of enemy you will face, influencing the rewards you can obtain. Choosing the right path is key to building a strong and balanced character.

Every run becomes a series of meaningful decisions:

• Focus on offense, defense, or sustain

• Adapt to what the game offers you

Bonuses

After winning a battle, you will be offered a selection of bonuses.

These bonuses improve your stats and allow you to shape your build over time. Each choice matters and can drastically change the outcome of your run.

Blessings

Occasionally, you will encounter blessings — powerful upgrades that act as enhanced bonuses.

Unlike regular bonuses, blessings provide significantly stronger stat increases, but always come with a stat penalty. These trade-offs force you to think carefully before committing, as each choice can strengthen your build while introducing new weaknesses.

Blessings can push your build to the next level, enabling unique and powerful combinations if you can handle their downsides.

Roguelike Progression

Each run is different.

With randomized encounters, rewards, and upgrades, no two playthroughs are the same. Success depends on your ability to adapt, plan, and make the right decisions at the right time.
