Why Early Access?

“Beerserker is a non-profit portfolio project designed to showcase our team’s talents and the dedication invested in its creation. With an Early Access launch, we aim to engage the community, collect valuable feedback, and continuously improve the player experience.

With the early access, we seek general audience feedback to improve the game and create a solid final product. We welcome feedback on UX/UI, the main mechanics, and the game's overall feel.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect to complete the project during this calendar year, roughly by december 2026.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The game is in an Alpha and early access state at the moment. However, the gameplay mechanics have been implemented to an advanced stage and the character designs and mechanics that are already present in the game are considered final. There is room for improvement based on feedback. Now where the 'early' keyword really matters is in quantity of content and player progression as well as polishing of systems such as UI and visual feedback.

In the current version, you can:
- Enjoy fluid combat encounters throughout the brewery. Hold tight to that axe!
- Fight against three kinds of enemies: Security dwarfs, Orcs, and master brewers will fight until the end.
- Environmental hazards... no one said it was easy.
- Arcade elements like a point counter system.
- Amusing narrative.
- Destroy as much as you can while hoping to find that recipe!

In the final version, we expect to have:
- Exciting arcade-like achievements. We want to keep the nostalgic spirit!
- Unlock new sections of the brewery.
- Boss fight and arena.
- A polished version of the UI.

“Beerserkers will be free throughout Early Access and upon its official release. We focus on demonstrating the skills of our team's work and use this game as a portfolio.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We intend to engage with the community through Twitter, Bluesky and Steam forums, actively soliciting and incorporating player feedback to refine the game before its official release.”
