“Unfortunately, due to a myriad of external factors, we have had to put Forging Glory ON HOLD for the time being in favor of smaller titles.

“The subjective threshold for completion will be when we and the community believe any rough edges have been rounded out.

We acknowledge there is plenty of potential depth to add, given its looter-shooter elements. It would not be off the table for new, highly demanded features, to be added during early access based on player feedback.

If we had to pick a date, ideally, before June.”

“Although all core features are currently in the game, we acknowledge there is a lot of room for expansion to add even more depth:

• Persistent world-wide multiplayer campaigns, effectively asymmetrical player-versus-player on a massive scale.
  
• Expanded crafting mechanisms, giving players even more power to build their gladiators.
  
• New weapons, such as mauls and daggers.
  
• New special abilities, such as nets, bolas, traps, headbutts, slides, shield charging, and more.
  
• New skins for more aesthetic variety (no microtransactions!).
  
• Social features, such as friends lists, clans, grouping, and global chat.
  
• Anything the community feels would make Forging Glory a staple in their gaming life!

Ultimately, we will need to balance our own vision with player feedback, and choose what is necessary before release, versus what can be offered after release.”

• Shop, to aid in finding items you seek (no microtransactions!).
  
• Smith, to aid in crafting ideal items.
  
• 10 avatar skins (no microtransactions!).
  
• Even an auto-GIF generator, for easy bragging to friends!

“We only intend to raise the price if we dramatically expand beyond the current features.

If it were to happen, it would likely be at or after release.”
