About the Game

Maidendawn: a heroine's tale is a narrative-driven visual novel set in a grounded medieval fantasy world based on the Cracked Altar series by Canadian fantasy author Timothy J. R. Rains. Experience a character-focused story told almost entirely through dialogue and meaningful choices, where exploration, relationships, and moral choices shape the path forward.

Follow Hinkle’s journey from an urchin of no consequence to the heroine of the realm as she confronts forces far beyond her understanding—and decides who she will become in the face of them.
