About This Demo

The forces of evil are once again threatening the world, only one way to stop them: reach the top of a mysterious giant tower. Don't ask why, it's the prophecy.

But it won't be that easy, they will try to stop you. Your people are building a town and assembling an army at the bottom of the tower to hold off the invaders. They will however need your support: you'll have to send them resources scavenged out of the tower.

Will you reach the top before your defense fails?

Furniture are just raw material in assembled form

The Tower is full of monsters and riches. Collect loot and break the furniture to fill up your inventory.
Efficiency is key: your stamina is limited and you'll only be able to do so much before needing to rest for the day.

Make The Most Out Of Your Day

At regular intervals waves of raiders will attack your Town in an auto-battler kind of event. The raider army grows larger every day and your defense needs to be strong enough to stop them at all time, so make sure you extract enough building material and weapons for your guards out of the Tower.

Aerial Loot Extraction

What's the best way to extract loot from a sky-high tower? Easy, just throw it all out the window.

Down next to the Tower your Town is being built. Use the resources you've dropped to build and defend your settlement. Buildings provide all sort of upgrades. Some will improve your hero's capabilities in the Tower, and some will help your Town defenses. Decide how to allocate your resources depending on what you need the most at a given time.

Use Magic Gems to Turn the Tides of Battle

Everise will challenge you to a game of constant fine balancing and optimization. The hero you send in the tower can't die, but you'll have to be efficient to maximize the amount of resources you can grab before your daily health & stamina pool is depleted. To help you with this you'll collect Magic Gems allowing you to cast a variety of spells to get the upper hand on the battlefield.

Tactical Turn-Based Combat

Spells can either be 'Slow' or 'Quick', meaning they either resolve before or after enemy actions. Use this to your advantage to outwit your enemies and get rid of them in a way that will require the minimal amount of time and effort: evade their attacks, move them around, trick them into attacking one another, be creative... and deceitful!

Demo Content and Limitations:

This demo allows you to go up to Floor 8 and experience the 3 phases of the game: Dungeon Crawling / City Building / Siege Defense, which will take most players about 1 to 4 hours depending on their playstyle.

You can keep playing and repeat Floor 8 indefinitely, the raiders will keep getting stronger as days go by but you won't be able to progress further in the Tower.

Some content is limited or not ready for the demo, the full game is planned to have 30 floors to explore, new enemies, more items and special equipment to find, more gems including rare ones, special rooms and boss rooms, more buildings and upgrade to unlock in town, harder raids, more guards to train and legendary guards to obtain.

The full game will also feature an extra difficulty setting for the most experienced players, Steam Achievements, and hopefully more, such as Endless mode, Controller Support and Localization.
