What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We’re a small team of three people building this game with our own funds.

We have a lot of ideas and systems we want to implement- especially around simulating generations and city life. But we also understand that not everything we come up with will actually be fun or meaningful for players.

For us, Early Access is a way to build the game together with you. We want to understand which mechanics truly work, what should be expanded, and what needs to be changed - or even removed. And hopefully, discover ideas together that we wouldn’t have come up with on our own.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect the game to stay in Early Access for around 6 to 12 months.

As our team is growing, the timeline may change - it will largely depend on the development process and the ideas and improvements we decide to pursue along the way.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to gradually expand the game in several directions.

The full version should include more unique buildings for different generations, additional decorative elements, and deeper generation-based mechanics. We also plan to expand the city management system into a full cabinet of ministers (Early Access includes only a few departments).

In addition, we want to increase the scale of the game: introduce a global map, the ability to develop multiple cities, trade between them, different settings, and architectural styles inspired by various countries and cultures. We also plan to expand the diversity of the city’s population.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version already includes the core gameplay loop.

You can build a city for five generations, make management decisions, and observe how different generations interact with each other. The game includes generational conflict mechanics, random events (such as illness, fires, and unrest), as well as systems like public dissatisfaction and riots.

At the moment, the game includes 10 city parameters and 9 generation-specific parameters that influence development.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We may increase the price over time as new content and systems are added to the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want to build this game together with the community.

We’ll be closely following feedback, discussions, and how players interact with the game. This helps us understand what works well and what needs improvement.

We plan to use this feedback to improve existing mechanics and shape the direction of future development.”

About This Game

Build a city where generations fight for the future

GENERATIONS: Utopia is a city-building strategy and social simulation about generational conflict.

You are building a city where five generations live side by side — and each of them has its own vision of the perfect society.

Develop infrastructure, manage the economy, and shape the urban environment.

But your real challenge is not construction.

Your challenge is people.

Every generation believes the city should be built their way.

Balance their expectations… or watch society fall apart.

Your utopia can thrive —
or become a social trap no one can escape.

A living simulation of generations

Your city is inhabited by five generations:
Silent Generation
Boomers
Generation X
Millennials
Generation Z

Each generation has its own values, needs, and expectations.

What makes one generation happy may frustrate another.

The perfect city for Millennials might be unacceptable for Boomers.

And what Zoomers want may drive everyone else crazy.

Managing the city becomes a strategy of balancing generations.

Build a city shaped by people

Construct residential districts, public spaces and urban infrastructure.

In GENERATIONS: Utopia, every building affects how people live and how generations interact.

Unlock unique generational buildings and cultural spaces:

Public bathhouse with kvass
Hotel Intourist, where knowledge can be exchanged for jeans
Flea market Tolkuchka with rare goods and game consoles
Video salons, discos, garages, vocational schools and many more

Your city becomes a reflection of the generations living inside it.

Social tension and crises

Generational tensions can lead to:
protests
strikes
social crises

Sometimes a single building can trigger demonstrations and paralyze entire districts.

Public dissatisfaction can damage the economy and destabilize the city.

As mayor, you must monitor public mood, make difficult decisions and keep society from collapsing.

Your utopia. Their expectations.

Build the city.
Balance the generations.
Keep society together.

Or discover that utopia means something different to everyone.
