What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Zero Point brings sci-fi survival crafting and third-person shooting into one journey from crash landing to escape. We want to develop the connections between gathering, crafting, building, survival and combat with players once the basic loop is ready. Early Access will let us use feedback from real play to refine that foundation and guide the game's growth.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently plan to spend at least a year in Early Access after the planned December 2026 launch. This is an estimate rather than a fixed full-release date. The schedule may change as development progresses and player feedback helps shape priorities.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full release, we plan to deepen the core survival loop, base progression and third-person combat, and develop the three friends' journey toward escape. We also aim to improve balance, usability, performance and stability as the game grows. These are development goals; the final scope may evolve with development and player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Early Access has not started yet. Coming to Steam Early Access in December 2026.

The latest development prototype includes alien resource gathering, food and condition feedback, oxygen, rest, inventory and equipment systems, and third-person combat with multiple weapons. These systems are still being developed and balanced.

The base shown in footage is a prebuilt test environment. Crafting, player-driven construction, base expansion and broader progression are still in development. The actual content of the Early Access launch version will be described before release; current footage shows work in progress.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to offer Early Access at a substantially lower base price than the planned full-release price, making it more accessible for players who join early. We intend to raise the base price for the full release as the experience grows. Exact prices will be announced before launch.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to gather feedback through the Steam Community discussions and share progress through development updates on Steam. Feedback on the core survival loop, combat feel, controls, usability and base progression will help inform development priorities and balance. We want players to see how the experience develops throughout Early Access.”

About This Game

One alien planet. Every trip outside matters.

Gather strange plants, check your supplies and take a weapon beyond the shelter. In Zero Point, surviving an alien world means looking after yourself between encounters with its creatures.

This single-player sci-fi survival crafting adventure follows three close friends stranded after a crash landing. Their goal is simple: find a way home together.

Survival begins with the small things

The latest prototype brings gathering, food, oxygen and rest into the same day-to-day survival routine.

  • Gather from an unfamiliar world. Harvest alien plants and collect resources as you explore.
  • Watch your condition. Food affects your character's condition, while oxygen, hydration and fatigue add needs to keep an eye on.
  • Make time to recover. Eat, rest at the shelter and prepare before heading out again.

Bring more than supplies

When exploration turns into a fight, switch to over-the-shoulder aiming and third-person gunplay. The combat prototype includes multiple weapons, equipment and inventory systems, with alien creatures encountered on the ground and in the air.
