The world is vast, and many lands lie across it. Enormous magical currents pass through it, leaving marks both clear and subtle. The flow of energy touches every living person.

Centuries ago, a course of dark power swept through the lands of the western continent. In time, this wave consumed all its great kingdoms. Cities, people... their wealth and wonders. Now there is no one left to save, and only their relics remain. The allure of these riches brings many visitors:

Pirates. Fortune seekers. Adventurers. Treasure hunters.

Of these, there are few who are familiar with the story of Ziii, and she likes it that way. Unlike most of them, Ziii came from a quiet village and a loving family. But she doesn’t want a quiet life.

Ziii wants to be rich.

A Classic Retro Adventure

Ziii is a retro fantasy action-adventure game that blends top-down exploration with side-scroll platforming. Take control of a determined treasure hunter on a quest to fill her vault with gold and ancient relics.

Key Features:

Take the helm on your ship, The Salty Seagull, in a first-person perspective. Steer across the open waters, check your map for bearings, and watch randomly generated islands rise on the horizon before seamlessly transitioning to the island's local overworld.

Once at an island, control The Salty Seagull from a retro, top-down perspective to circumnavigate the landmass. Sail back out to the open sea, or find a beach to drop anchor and step ashore. On foot, navigate an RPG-style top-down map featuring four distinct elemental biomes: scorching deserts, lush forests, freezing ice, or fiery landscapes.

Follow paths on the world map to fade seamlessly into focused adventure zones. Experience these areas through a dynamic blend of top-down exploration and side-scrolling action, both packed with engaging combat against dangerous enemies.

Discover hidden dungeon entrances scattered across the adventure areas. Descend into these top-down ruins to find special dungeon items like high-jumping dragoon boots, cloaks of invisibility, or freezing arrows, to help you navigate the dangers within.

Gather red herbs across the lands to brew vital potions at the brewing machine aboard your ship. Collect magical rings and amulets to increase your stamina and run speed, gain extra hearts, or boost your attack and defense against the world's elements.

At the end of each dungeon, a formidable boss awaits. Defeat them to claim a permanent extra heart to aid your survival, or a highly valuable ancient relic destined for your treasure vault.

While onboard your ship, switch to a top-down deck view to head below deck into your personal headquarters. Your ultimate goal is to amass a fortune valued at 100,000 gold pieces. Place your hard-won relics on pedestals in your vault to add their worth to your total.  Fill your treasure vault to become a legendary fortune seeker!
