“The current estimate is around 6–12 months, depending on development progress and feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand what players can do with the chickens they produce. This may include improving the market system and developing more detailed ways to sell products to different buyers. We are also considering adding new production options, such as creating food products (e.g., restaurant-style meals) from processed chicken parts. In addition, more machines and production steps may be introduced to allow for a wider variety of products. These systems are currently more limited in the Early Access version and will be expanded over time as development continues.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Chicken Inc. is currently playable as a single-player game with its core gameplay loop implemented, including buying chickens, raising them to maturity, managing coop conditions such as temperature, fuel, and ventilation, processing products, and selling them for profit. The basic production and selling systems are functional, and the game is stable and fully playable, but some systems—such as chicken selling and market interactions—are still being expanded and improved during Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The price will increase after Early Access. Players who purchase the game during Early Access will get it at a lower price while the game is still in development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will be gathered through Steam discussions and other community channels, with regular updates and development priorities informed by player input.”
