About This Game

a short bullet-hell survivor-like where every choice splits reality. Pick an item, and a mirror world spawns with the opposite pick. These other realities run simultaneously on screen, and items can reach across dimensions to steal enemies, drain XP, relocate projectiles, or erase entire realities.

Realities

Choices in D.I.M create mirror realties where the other choice happened, you get to control the character across all worlds simultaneously. Worlds act as back-up lives if you die in your main world but can also act as a resource for items to use (like draining XP from another world to get more levels to get more items!).

Items

Gain items by gaining levels, opening chests, and beating bosses. Each item has a rarity and some items utilise different dimensions for certain effects.

Common Items

- Projectile Relocation — 50% chance each shot relocates a projectile from another dimension to yours.

- Enemy Relocation — Send closest enemy to a different dimension every 2s - Grenade — Lob a grenade in a random direction for AOE damage every 5s

- XP Siphon — Drain 10 XP/s from a random dimension for 10s every 15s - Quantum Aura — Deal 0.5 damage to nearby enemies (+10 radius per stack) every 0.5s

- Robot Friend — Spawn a guard robot (30s lifespan) that shoots enemies every 17.5s

- Decoy — Throw a ghost decoy (2.5s) that enemies target every 12.5s

- Quantum Chain Lightning — Strike an enemy with lightning, 50% chain, 10% cross-dimension every 7.5s

- Freeze — Freeze an enemy and all its dimensional copies every 5s

- Quantum Axe Boomerang — Throw an axe boomerang, 50% chance to teleport to another dim on return every 2.5s

- Orbital Missiles — Missile strike on a random enemy with small AOE every 1.5s

- Repulsar Beam — Beam that pushes an enemy back every 1s

- Split Ball — Ball splits into 3, each has 33% chance to appear in another reality every 2.5s

Rare Items

- Quantum Fire — Throw 3 Molotov's, 20% spread chance, 1% cross-dimension spread every 10s

- Item Relocation — Steal 1 item from a random dimension every 30s

- Quantum Blades — Shoot blades in every direction, die on collision every 6s

- Emergency Contingency — On lethal hit, teleport away and negate the damage (passive)

- Quantum Vampirism — Steal 1 HP from another dimension every 15s

- Coin Flip (unique) — Heads: heal 1 HP, tails: take 1 damage, spawns a reality with the opposite result every 15s

- Quantum Barrage — Rapid fire for 5 seconds every 20s

Legendary Items

- Quantum Stack — Pick a random owned item, steal all copies from other realities (consumed) every 30s

- Reality Erasure — Pick a random dimension, absorb its items and destroy it every 2.5 min

- Fire Ball — Shoot two fireballs left/right, ignite all enemies hit with quantum fire every 15s

- Reality Conversion — Steal up to 20 enemies from other realities, convert them to friendly every 60s

- XP Drain — Steal all XP from another player every 60s

- Reality Backup — Destroy a random reality, clone this one with its energy (passive)

- AOE Link — All AOE effects also occur in all other dimensions (passive)

- Cooldown Routing (unique) — Reduce all cooldowns by 1/4 for every 5 dimensions active, needs 2+ worlds (passive)

Bosses

Use your skills, luck and items to beat the 3 guardians and if you do that you can take on the final boss! to win you will have to beat the guardians before 15 minutes and then defeat the final boss.
